KGEC college review

I aways have interest in electronics, so for me this is my favourate course always. From this i have learned the problem solving techniques, as Education is the key to compit any problems in our life .

The Placement scenario of this college is very good , many of company like TCS,Cognizant etc visted for on campus placement. The heighest package of this goesb upto 43 lakh per annum, and the average placement of this college is 9 lakh.

Each department have different fees structure,In Kalyani Government Engineering College the Fees structure of the courses remains same till now. In Electronics & Communication Department,The Total fees Structure in ECE department is 12960 rupees per year. The fees structure of this is very less, In Electronics and Communication Depatrment the Semester fees have to paid about 6480 per semester ( tution fess-6000 rupees , and electricity bill is 480 rupees ), So the total fess in Two Semester ( 1 year ) is 12960 rupees.There is no Concession for Reserved Catogory students. All studenst have to pay the same structure as the fees structure College gave to the students.The Tution fees of the each depatments are different like for Computer Science and Engineering Department ( CSE )- 6000 rupees ,Information Technology ( IT ) - 12000 rupees ,Electronics and Communication Engineering Department ( ECE ) - 6000 rupees ,Electrical Engineering Department ( EE ) -3000 rupees,Mechanical Engineering ( ME ) -3000 rupees and the other fees are same. Like the fees take from the college during the Admission is- 3000 rupees, the Caution fees is 23 rupees ,the Registration fees is - 500 rupees, Development fees is - 300 rupees, Labs fees- 500 rupees are the same for every department in Kalyani Government Engineering College.The students persuring Bechalor of Technology in different courses are also get the scholarship Swami Vivekananda Merit and Cum Schoralship ( SVMCM ) in every year the those the students family income is less than 2.5 lac.to get Swami Vivekanada Merit and Cum Scholarship,the students have to maintain about 6.7 sgpa in the each Semester exam in the year. Also The Kalyani Government Engineering College Authority provides Freeship Program ( the tution fees of each semester do no have to pay ) to the students who are financial weaked students, and theire family annual income is less than 2.5 lac rupees.To get the Freesship Program their is no restriction to matain sgpa.

As i told before that the college have 73 acre of campus. the colleges students conducts the west bengal's 2nd largest Fest ESPEKTRO. In the library there are very large number books collection. each Classroom have Projectors and the teachers teaches the students Digitally in the classroom.

Each Hostel have aprrox 40 rooms. and in one room 4 students can stay. the food quality is average in the hostel each hostel there have different menus of food which is made by the students of the hostel so they can eat what they want.

I have choose this college beacause this college is West Bengal's third best College in Engineering, as this the government college the fees structure of this also is very less as compare to the Private Collges.

The College have large number of experieced Faculty Members. Many of those proffesor are PHD holders. Each department have at least 5 proffesors.So the College have total number of 15 proffesors as in the college have five departments Computer Science and Engineering ( CSE ), Information Technology ( IT ), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering ( ME ). The ratio of students and teacher is very good 60 : 5 ,The relationship between the students and teachers are very good.Teachers are very helpful to the students, they provide notes to the students, and exam suggestaions before the Semester exam. The teachers are very friendly to the students, the way teaching of the teachers is very Good and they are approchable in a very helpful way (Online| Offline).I mostly like my departmental teachers, they always ready to help for every quiry of academic.They use to take Class test also for betterment of the understanding of the students. there is no one any teacher that i dislike everyone is very helpful and they are always respected.The university conducts 4 CA( class Accesment) exams in each semester,name as CA1, CA2,CA3,CA4 and 2 practical exams also conducted in College level named as PCA1, PCA2. After the complete of Four CA the MAKAUT university conducts the Final ODD & EVEN semester each after 6 months. The CA exams are not too much hard, semester exams also conduts moderate level of question papers, but the academic is very good in the college so the students can easily clear the conceptas and results well. altough of good academics the some of students get fail in the semester exams beacause of various to their personal reason. But almost 85% students pass the semester exam,The syllubus is also very course related, the students get helps for their upcoming GATE Exam and Other Engineering Job related exams also Like Junior Engineers, Railway exams, Engineering Services Exam (ESE), Software Company.

There are 6 Hostels in the College , and each hostel is divided yearwise. Each Hostel have Gym facilities, and indore game equipments. The out time of every hostel is 6am and In time of Every hostel is 6 pm. nightlife life is also better in the campus there is everywhere streetlight many canteens so the students take their tiffin easily on Campus.
