Course Curriculum Overview
I actually like in maths, so I choose engineering Firstly, I fill the form of west bengal joint entrance exam. Then I qualify the Kalyani Government Engineering College In bachelor's Of Technology in electronics and communication engineering. The frequency and timing of exams per 6 month a semester exam. We are under makaut university under affiliated college that dificulty level is very high.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Name of the companies: Cognizant, TCS, L& T, Indian Oil, Amazon, Flipkart, Google etc. Total offer letter is 200 average. Average package as per company is 8 lacs per annum. Above 70% students getting placements. My plans are getting Gate exam ranking.
Fees and Financial Aid
This is my course fees : The year wise fees : 12000 Tuition fee : 6000 per semester Caution fees : 480 Registration fees : 1000 Addmission fees : 5000 Lab fees : 1000 Others department fees : Computer science and engineering: Tuition fees - 6000 per semester Information technology: Tuition fees - 12000 per semester Electrical Engineering: Tuition fees - 3000 per semester Mechanical engineering : Tuition fees - 3000 per semester But per semester some students having tuition fees waiver. So, semester fees is not to pay. We having big government scholarship. That is swami vivekanand merit cum means scholarship. It's ammount 60000 per annum. But dificult is that yearly marks required 7.5 CGPA Some optional financial aid is students credit card. It is all students can have upto 10 lacs with 10% interest. But interest is varring with bank. I have 2 lacs ammount of student credit card loan. I paid 10% interest in a year. All in average the total fees of our college is affordable.
Campus Life
The name of the annual and technical festival is Especktro, Tectixs and Exotica. This event hold in March. The range and accessibility of books and journals avilable in the library is 250 and 100. Total students club is 15 Many clubs are there. likes Math club, coding club, arts club, sports club, photography club, dance club, astronomy club etc.
Hostel Facilities
In a room 3 beds and 3 tables are available. Having 3 almaris. Meal quality is moderate. Menu: chicken/ paneer 2days in a week. Fish 2days in a week. Egg 2days in a week. Registration process is normal to fill a hostel form and submit to the registrar sir. Location of rented a room in alukul more near our college and far away from college is kalyani ghoshpara, ITI more.
Admission
I have to apply in Jadavpur University for electrical Engineering in Bachelor's Of Technology. I have not to apply in kgec but I have. Yes I get rejected from Jadavpur University. My ranking not good for Jadavpur University
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1:18 Student and faculty relationship is like friendly. Most helpful to ours students of ours faculty. The name of the faculties I like is Anup Kumar Mallick. Sir is very helpful of us. His teaching methods is so good freely understandable. The names of the faculty I don't like is I not to provide that for personal details and self awareness.
Night Life
The central gym is currently made in Our Maghnath Saha Bhauan. Cafeterias are not available. Library is available in MSB. We have 4 hostel in our college. All hostels are divided by year. All hostels in time is 8pm and out time is 5am. My famous hangout place is in our hostel 210 no room. And outside is our fest ground.
