Fees and Financial Aid:

Each department have different fees structure,In Kalyani Government Engineering College the Fees structure of the courses remains same till now. In Electronics & Communication Department,The Total fees Structure in ECE department is 12960 rupees per year. The fees structure of this is very less, In Electronics and Communication Depatrment the Semester fees have to paid about 6480 per semester ( tution fess-6000 rupees , and electricity bill is 480 rupees ), So the total fess in Two Semester ( 1 year ) is 12960 rupees.There is no Concession for Reserved Catogory students. All studenst have to pay the same structure as the fees structure College gave to the students.The Tution fees of the each depatments are different like for Computer Science and Engineering Department ( CSE )- 6000 rupees ,Information Technology ( IT ) - 12000 rupees ,Electronics and Communication Engineering Department ( ECE ) - 6000 rupees ,Electrical Engineering Department ( EE ) -3000 rupees,Mechanical Engineering ( ME ) -3000 rupees and the other fees are same. Like the fees take from the college during the Admission is- 3000 rupees, the Caution fees is 23 rupees ,the Registration fees is - 500 rupees, Development fees is - 300 rupees, Labs fees- 500 rupees are the same for every department in Kalyani Government Engineering College.The students persuring Bechalor of Technology in different courses are also get the scholarship Swami Vivekananda Merit and Cum Schoralship ( SVMCM ) in every year the those the students family income is less than 2.5 lac.to get Swami Vivekanada Merit and Cum Scholarship,the students have to maintain about 6.7 sgpa in the each Semester exam in the year. Also The Kalyani Government Engineering College Authority provides Freeship Program ( the tution fees of each semester do no have to pay ) to the students who are financial weaked students, and theire family annual income is less than 2.5 lac rupees.To get the Freesship Program their is no restriction to matain sgpa.

In my course I like to study digital electronics and digital communication.

This is my course fees : The year wise fees : 12000 Tuition fee : 6000 per semester Caution fees : 480 Registration fees : 1000 Addmission fees : 5000 Lab fees : 1000 Others department fees : Computer science and engineering: Tuition fees - 6000 per semester Information technology: Tuition fees - 12000 per semester Electrical Engineering: Tuition fees - 3000 per semester Mechanical engineering : Tuition fees - 3000 per semester But per semester some students having tuition fees waiver. So, semester fees is not to pay. We having big government scholarship. That is swami vivekanand merit cum means scholarship. It's ammount 60000 per annum. But dificult is that yearly marks required 7.5 CGPA Some optional financial aid is students credit card. It is all students can have upto 10 lacs with 10% interest. But interest is varring with bank. I have 2 lacs ammount of student credit card loan. I paid 10% interest in a year. All in average the total fees of our college is affordable.

Attendance policy is chill. Only lab attendance are needed for course points.

I paid 10,727/- per year in my college. This includes tuition fees, admission fees and all other relevant fees. The library fees and development fees, along with laboratory fees are around 2000 rupees which is well included in this structure. For hostel, there is no living cost, just the food expenditure which is 2000 rupees a month. They have a hygienic and well defined food menu. There are scholarships such as SVMCM and MCM scholarships. However there are also scholarships offered by external companies based on the overall merit of the student.

The Myths Of KGEC

The tution fees is 6k per semester. But if you can manage to get full free the tution fees is zero. That's the best thing for students who are aspiring for and there are also every possible scholarships that you can get.

KGEC in my eyes

The fee structure is 6000 rs per semester for CSE and ECE It has a fee structure of 12000 Rs per semester and EE and ME has a fee of 3000 rs per semester as tuition fee, The admission fee is a bit more because it includes a library and other facilities usable in the college campus, Scholarships are available 60000 Rs / Year, Free ships and half-free ships are applicable for the students who are brilliant but have financial issues

Very Good college with some drawback

The admission fees for my branch is around 13k per year and additional amount of 2.5k for student union fees of full course and fest fees of 1.5k per year . Here student can got several types of scholarships like Aikashree, SVMCM, Oiasis etc.

Teaching faculty is too good iit, nit qualified teachers.

Here the course fees 10,373 which is quite affordable, also we have free ship skim , and we can also apply for the Swami Vivekananda scholarship for this. Here we got job offer from core sector as well as from Software sector

Kalyani Govt. Engineering College - in a nutshell

10000 for first sem and then 6000 for each sems. Scholarships are available. Like svmcm (Swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship) and many private scholarships are available. On campus placement is decent, last year core students got more placements than others

Approximate fees for a semester here is 10k..but after one sem the fees is deducted to 6k excluding all the one time charges..
