As of my branch ece , this is the best you can get in this college. Starting from our hod to other facilities all are one of the most educated skilled faculties as compared to other branches. The placements are decent.

Ece is a evergreen branch which have future opportunities in both software and hardware category.. But the course is quite difficult than the others.. The papers of this course are quite hard as it covers both the software and hardware portion.. In kgec there are almost 10-12 faculty members for the ece branch.. The faculty members are quite knowledgeable and most of them have done their post graduation from recognized institutes. The professors have wide range of knowledge about the subject and they can help u out according to ur own need. They are quite frankly and helpy too.. The exams generally depends on university but the internals are conducted by college and the quality of the paper was good
I choose ECE because Jobs are available everywhere and with some basic knowledge ECE engineers can do wonders with the training provided by companies. The faculties are highly qualified and the faculty and student ratio are approximately 1:7. Some teach us very well. Exams happen every month and semester exam is hard to pass.
I choose ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING because I love this course. From childhood, I have been interested in electronic elements. My college infrastructure is good, and faculty members are friendly and help a lot in my study In this course total of 12 teachers and 60 students were present. The faculty are well educated (mostly done PhD degrees) and their teaching method is very good. Yearly two semesters are conducted by MAKAUT. Most of the students pass the exam.
I have an interest in electronics and in India semiconductor industry is growing exponentially, so I thought that ECE would be best for me. We have 57 students in our dept. and we have 10 teachers. so 6 to a 1 ratio between students and teachers. Almost all the facilities are highly qualified, and they gave their efforts to help students. Not only do they help us with the Btech syllabus, but they also help us in preparation for competitive exams (GATE etc). They give special treatment to those who have too many queries. If you follow their notes and classes, getting pass marks is not a big deal. But full marks are impossible.
