KGEC BTech Admissions 2025

KGEC BTech admissions are granted based on the candidate’s WBJEE Scores. To be eligible, candidates should have cleared 10+2 with 50%, along with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, separately. Seat allocation is based on a Centralised Counselling process for students with valid WBJEE ranks.

KGEC WBJEE Cutoffs 2024 have been given below. These are closing ranks of all rounds, relevant to the General category. The overall cutoff rank for WBJEE was 1432 - 3849 in 2024.

KGEC BTech Application Process

KGEC BTech enrolls candidates based on their 10+2 and WBJEE scores, followed by a counselling process. Eligible candidates, if interested, may follow the steps given below.

• Visit the WBJEE official website and click on the registration button.
• Enter the personal details including phone number and Email ID.
• A registration number will be received with a password at the Email ID.
• Click on the link which will lead to the application form.
• Enter the personal and academic details.
• Upload the passport size photograph (size: 3 to 300 kb) with signature (3 to 30 kb).
• Pay the application fee online and submit the application fee.
• For General candidates, the application fee is INR 700 for General, EWS category and INR 500 for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B candidates
• Retain the hard copy print of the submitted application form
• After candidates get their WBJEE/WBJELET rank cards, they must participate in the respective counseling procedures.

KGEC MTech Admissions 2025

KGEC MTech enrolls candidates based on their GATE scores only. If GATE qualified candidates are not enrolled, they can also seek admissions via PGET exam scores. Candidates will be called for counselling, as per their ranks.
