The best thing about the college is good faculty members. The faculty members here very good and helpful
The college has its own four boys' hostels and one girls' hostel.
Here, besides studies, sports are very good. And the relationship between seniors and juniors is very good here.

Dislikes

Infrastructure in the college needs to be improved.
More lab equipment should be brought to college
The campus needs to be kept more clean. Lighting needs to be arranged.

Admission:

To get admitted to this college, you will have to take the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam. To get admission in this college you have to score well in this exam. If you want to get admission in CSE department in this college then your rank should be below 2000 if you want to get admission in other departments in this college then your rank should be within 6000 My rank was 896. I applied to Jadavpur first, then Kalyani Government College, then Jalpaiguri Engineering College, and I chose the CSE department of each college. I did not get CSE in Jadavpur because my rank was not below 100.

Hostels are good I like the hostel culture

I choose this because it is a government college and comes after the jadavpur university in all colleges under the WBJEE if your GMR is between 1500-3000 you can easily get the admission in KGEC and one thing KGEC is 100% for the Domicile students that is you have to be a resident of west Bengal

The students of the college conduct the 3rd largest fest in West Bengal.
The College has the big campus of 73 acre. Social interactions of is very good.
In the college , there are many expert Professors .

Dislikes

The maintenances of the college must be improved.
The Infrastructure is not much good must need improvement.
the road of the college should be constructed.

Admission:

I have choose this college beacause this college is West Bengal's third best College in Engineering, as this the government college the fees structure of this also is very less as compare to the Private Collges.

Ours Days in KGEC

Likes

I mostly like studying in library of mathematics books.
I like to play cricket and football in ours ground.
In my course I like to study digital electronics and digital communication.

Dislikes

I don't like ours department faculties with hod.
Ours campus roads are poorly bad. Very effectively is bad.
Our all sports equipment is not available.

Admission:

I have to apply in Jadavpur University for electrical Engineering in Bachelor's Of Technology. I have not to apply in kgec but I have. Yes I get rejected from Jadavpur University. My ranking not good for Jadavpur University

Likes

Environment is very good, Campus is very clean and Near to Station
Seniors are helpfull they help you to settle in the college, no ragging at all

Dislikes

Hostels should be Clean a much more and appliances should be corrected
Mess food is not too much i liked mess must be improved

I would like to say about the popularity about this college . This college is a government college in West Bengal and it holds second rank throughout the West Bengal from the government site Engineering College and it ranks after Jadavpur University from engineering site. This college was established at 1992 and it is situated in Kalyani with a good infrastructure. And I would suggest to take admission in this college because have the fee structure is very much laser than any other private college in West Bengal and also where it is but the fee structure is really really very much less than any other colleges and as it is Government College so I would like to pray for this college for any courses because the graduation degree from here is very worthy then other private college here you will get good environment for studies and you will get good package in placement if you study well for your entire bachelor degree

Likes

Faculties are good and helpful and teaching and non teaching all staff are good and mostly helpful
Environment is good college is adjacent to the kalyani university
The transportation system to college is good with nearby railway station is kalyani ghospara

Dislikes

May some people doesn't like the infrastructure
water is not much good like if you stay in hostel sometimes you have to use mineral water

Admission:

I choose this college because in west this comes after the jadavpur university, Admission process of the college is simple the college is selected by the WBJEE rank if your rank is between 1500-5000 you are eligible for this college

Faculty is the most prized aspect offered by our college as it is having one of the most execelent teaching faculty memebers in whole of west bengal.
Placements are the part of the college everyone is excited about and the placements here are constantly increasing .
Social campus lyf is one of a experinece due to the vast campus and unique bonding of seniors and juniors.

Dislikes

Infrastructure should be improved a little as it has been a little outdated
Ammnities should be a bit latter models as the ones used are a lite backdated ones.
No other points are there that could be considered a drawback.

Admission:

I choosed this college over the others after opting for my wbjee Examination because of its social campus lyf placements and the facilty members presnet over here and also the rhe way of working environment provided as well as its the second best college after jadavpur university coming under wbjee affiliation.
