Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology offers admission to B.Tech, BCA, BBA, B.Sc, M.Tech, MBA, M.Sc, MCA, M.Pharm, PhD, and PG Diploma courses. MAKAUT Admission is based on the university's entrance examinations, i.e., CET, JEMAT, and PGET. The university also accepts admissions based on scores in WBJEE, JEE Main, JECA, JEHOM, JELET, GATE, and GAT-B. The 1st year MAKAUT Fee for B.Tech is INR 71,100 and for BCA is INR 57,100.

MAKAUT B.Tech Admission 2025
MAKAUT offers a 4-year B.Tech program via regular mode in three specializations: Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, and VLSI Design. The university offers 180 seats (in-house), ie, 60 seats for each specialization. MAKAUT Admission is based on WBJEE or JEE Main entrance examination, followed by WBJEE Counselling for final seat allotments. The university also offers admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry on the basis of scores obtained in the WB-JELET entrance examination.

- Step 2: Click on the link to ‘New Registration' and register yourself there to create a username and password.
- Step 3: Candidates who logged out after WBJEE registration 2024 had to log in using their application number and password.

Candidates seeking admission to the M.Tech program must have a B.Tech or BE degree in the relevant discipline with 60% marks. Selection of the candidates will be based on PGET or GATE scores.
