A detailed and well-structrued review of TECHNO INTERNATIONAL NEWTOWN.

My course is information technology in B.Tech graduation. The curriculum is decided by MAKAUT,WEST BENGAL as our college is affiliated to it. As for academic pursuits one will find fair amount of knowledge. One can even apply it for further research. It should shorten the 3hr long lab classes to short span classes during regular days of the week rather than just two days. i wont complain about the examination schedule of this college. They take timley examinations both on theory and practical as predecessors to the semester exams. So the students are busy throughout the semester time in their academic pursuits.

Since i enrolled for the course in the year 2021, my fee at the time of admission was around 60,000 with a tuition fee waiver. Then per semester from fhe first semester onwards i have been paying is 56500 to be approx. The examination fee for each semester is 1200 rupees. There are no demand otherwise for any money from the college board.

There are a number of events that take place annually. The exuberance sports fest held every year provideds a great opportunity for the students to prove their sporting spirit. The tech-fest held. The library is quite huge with ample books and space for sitting and reading for hours. All the books are available for students of any department. Each classroom is well-spaced and has nice seating provision as well. Lately smart classroom have started functioning on a regular basis

I applied for a number of colleges post my JEE exams. I had a average-good results so i was confident of not making it to the top colleges of this country but i had a chance at the colleges in my state( West Bengal). I applied to UEM KOLKATA, BO PODDAR COLLEGE and even MEGNADH SAHA COLLEGE apart from my college, TECHNO INTERNATIONAL NEWTOWN. Luckily i got selected in all of the above but my college seemed to be better at the time of counselling process. It had better academic curriculum and infrastructure. The locality of the college was very convenient as well. After getting selected for the admission, i was given a timeline for the admission process to be followed. It was during that timeline of around July 2021 that i went for admission in this college. I had to fill the admission form following a one on one conversation with the admission officer.

As i have mentioned earlier that the faculty focuses on each and every student academically and in terms of fulfilling the basics duties of the students. Responsibly, they are good. But the focus on theory more than the practicality makes it more of a scoring race. It would be disrespectful to name the faculties publicly but the DSA and the other software related subjects were a bit hard to catch on for me.

My favourite hangout spot is the library and the garden cum field in the centre of the our campus. There are seating facilities as well in the field mentioned. The garden trees are ample and provide scenic as well as natural advantages There are two cafeterias and one of them is quite popular in town. The night events mostly take place during cultural fest and on DJ NIGHT events.
