What Students Say

Likes

Some teachers are really helpful for the students.
There is a playground. Student's can play in their off time.
There is also good views infront of the college.

Dislikes

Some teachers are not helpful, so nedded to change the faculties.
Placement are not good at all in the last year passout students and also ours.
Library need to be improved, i think a Library can be suppled bot on only the semester books, it can also supply story books.

Course Curriculum Overview

I think the carrier choice may be sometimes right or wrong, its totally depends how you like your subjects. The exam is feelings difficult now because mcq types question is not given, also the brought question are completely a particular module based.

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience

Employment scenario is good before 2 years, the placement is really incredible at that time but in current scenario, the last year and the present years is not good at all. So i need to improve my skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees of a lateral student is 2 lakhs 10 thousand. So every semester we need to paid 35,000. The price is seem to be increased as compare to the infrastructure of the college. Scholarship will be available, who have got 60% number in last year they can apply for swami vivekananda Scholarship and less than 60 percentage are apply oasis and other Scholarships.

Campus Life

My overall view is almost similar as i said the previously. The placement is need to be better. The examination process of the makaut university need to be classify and clear to all of the students. Also the front view is really good.

Admission

First of all I want to go to the outside from our states to looking for a job. Then, i heard the company needed to be a btech candidates. So i directly joined hooghly Engineering and Technology College.

Faculty

Faculties and student ratio is almost good all but needed to be improved because when you reached the final year, you need to be choosing your elective subjects, all subjects teachers are not available in the college. Makaut marking systems are not good at all.

Night Life

At night the college looking in outside is really beautiful and glorious. The lights are always on that's why its looks like more beautiful. And guards are always there, so safety is really good at all.

Placement happened but not that much maximum 60 out 100 students got placed ya but 80 put pf 100 girls are placed in other words placement for girls are better than boy and if goes department wise then students from cse got got placement than any other department

Placement Experience:

Well in the 7th semester of final year, the students start getting placement and companies visit at this time mostly. The top hiring company is TCS, wipro, byju etc. The highest package is about 6-8 lakhs per annum for IT sector. Average package is around 2-3 lakhs per annum.
