Course Curriculum Overview

From a young age i have been fascinated by technology, particulay how coumpters are work. This curiosity grew into a passion for pogramming and problem solving, which led me choose Computer Science and Engineering. i was Drean to endless possibilities in tech, form software developement to artificial intellegence, and the impact it has on various industries

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 410000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I will pay 410000 in total 4 years. My first semester fee was 67400 which includes Addmission fee - 5000 Tuition fee - 45000 Caution Deposite - 10000 Student welfare - 500 Library fee - 500 University registration fee - 500 University Developement fee - 2200 University Exam fee - 1200 Book Band - 2500 If you are a permanent resident of West Bengal you can get a scholarship(svmcm Scholarship) of 60000 per year from gov.

Campus Life

The caltural fest of outr college is named as UTKARSHA and it happens around january and february of the year. There are not much books and journals in the library of the college. Various annual sports happens all the time in campus like cricket, football .

Admission

I am from west bengal and I ahd science in my class 12th after completing my class 12th i appered for WBJEE the interence examinationfor engineering colleges of west bengal. And through the cunceling process i got selected in this college.

Faculty

The faculty student ration is aroud 1:15 and the faculties are so helful and nice. I like Pratyay Debnath Sir the most. He makes so interesting studying maths. There are 4 internal exams for all theory subjects and 2 internal exams for all the lab subjects. And there is a final semester exam of all theory and lab subjetcs.

Night Life

There are no gym fecilities in college campus. And the college starts around 9:45 AM and goes according to individual time table. And there is no timing restrictions for college hostel for boys. You can hang aroud in River side, KPS mall

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

The prosperous and happenning university - West Bengal University of animal and fisheries Sciences

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.
