ALL ABOUT B.TECH. IN ASANSOL ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Likes

I like the College location, Daily travelling expences to nearby places are affordable.
The collage provides all the essential equipments & labs.
The College environment is neat & clean.

Dislikes

The Library of the college is a bit small.
The College canteen menu has less items.
Fewfaculty Teachers behaves very rudely.

Placement Experience:

Students ususally gets eligable for placement in their 7th Sem. TCS, INFOSIS,Shyam Steel, WIPRO, Mithon Steel, COGNIZANT, etc The highest package was 22LPA and the avarage package is 3.5LPA 71% of students usually gets places every year. I plan to further study for masters.

The good and bad thing about Asansol engineering College

Likes

The campus life is good and the social interaction with our seniors and our teachers is also good
Faculties are well qualified and helps in our studies
The college has all the basic labs , canteen, gym, auditorium

Dislikes

Library is small and the books provided are also old
The placement for some specific branches are very low close to none
Behaviour of some teachers are very bad .

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester student or a eligible for college placement of many companies visit such as TCS Infosys Wipro Cognizant highest package has been given to a CS student wedges 22 lakhs as the average is 4.2 lakh almost 90% student get placed after getting my degree I will pursue higher education in management

Our campus is very well looking. We have 1 basketball and 2 badminton courts
The environment of our college is very good.
Our college gym is very good, there are many equipments.

Dislikes

Our college labs are like cage or something. There is always a dimish light.
The class size is not as expected at the number of students
The Campus size is very small, it's should be big in size

We have a lust of technology. It sounds vulgar but In the era of AI. We have to capable of electronics hardware also to carry out the purpose. Here we go with Electronics and communication engineering.

Heritage Institute of Technology: College Review

Likes

Faculties are well qualified and they teach well. Some faculties teach very well and make students understand in easy ways. They also provide their contact number to help students in studies.
Since it is a private college, it has very good infrastructure. The library is very large and filled with good books and journals. The labs are well equipped with necessary equipments.
Here, canteen provides good quality food.

Dislikes

Very low placement opportunities. Mostly students are placed in TCS. And some goes for off campus placement or GATE exam.
No internship opportunities. Students have to upskill by themselves and apply online for internships.
No boys hostel inside college campus. Since there is no any boys hostel inside campus so campus life is missed.

Course curriculum is very relevant for the job market. The curriculum includes core computer science subjects and some management subjects as the branch is computer science and business system. In first year 4 surprise tests occur in each subject, from second year mid semester exams take place instead of surprise tests.

Too much distance from my home if you are living in Kolkata it's fine for you
Sometimes notes are not provided properly but on request it is provided
Placements for executive courses are not available

Placement Experience:

From 2 year 3rd sem students get eligible for placements There were many companies which visited as well as offered jobs like zomato, byjus, many commercial banks etc. Highest package above 3 lakhs average package 1.5 lakhs (both at per annum) Sorry can't say accurately how much percentage of students got placements but if you have skills companies will select you for sure My plan is to go abroad to look for jobs after I get my degree.

Infrastructure is very good as they have playground

Life at MID

Likes

The College Campus is quite big and clean.
The classrooms are good with all facilities.
I find some good professor and they help me on every field. After pass out they still connected.

Dislikes

Management is not interactive with the students.
College accounts department service are very poor, before semester exam every time they ask the physical copy that we done the payments or not.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum does not align with the real-world industry requirments. In the fast peced world the college needs to adpat or change the curriculum every 3-5 years. It should follow the Bloom Taxonomy approch. For better preparations college need to take exams end of every month.

TAKE A LOOK TO GCECT

Likes

The environment, a neat and clean campus, little but well organized and well maintained campus surrounded by nature.
Students Teacher friendly relationship. A healthy relationship between students and teachers which helps students to feel like a home, and can communicate with respective teachers without any hesitation
A strong bond between batchmates and also between senior, juniors. We play, sing, do funs, social activities also take part in college events together with our seniors as well juniors.

Dislikes

Canteen is not upto the mark. The menu list is very very limited as well as canteen is not even open regularly.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester we are eligible for the internship, also we can apply for both on campus and off campus placements. In our college some companies like Geotech, Infosys, Code Clouds, Unibit solutions visit every year. Average package is in the range of 3.5-5 Lakhs per annum and highest package is nearly 6-7Lpa. But post covid time our placement record decreased a bit. Nearly about 80-85% of CSE students get placed every year. Also I am currently appearing in interview of different companies for placement.

U get ur placement offers from 7th semester onwards which we can say u get the opportunity for applying in company when u r are in ur final years the percentage of placement is 70% the highest package was 21lpa and the average package was around 2.7lpa
