The good and bad thing about Asansol engineering College

From beginning only I was interested in this course that's why I decided to follow this the curriculum is well developed for real world application and for further studies but some areas which need improvement in the curriculum and teaching methods are such emphasizing in practicals more as compared to theory . In a semester there are 2 class test which held one month after another 2 assignments and a semester exam which is held in last month of the semester

There are many internship opportunities available in our college it depends upon the branch which you are from usually the Stephen is from 5000 to 15000 company such as Infosys , Shyam Steel, maithon Steel ,TCS provide internship opportunities to the student

From 7th semester student or a eligible for college placement of many companies visit such as TCS Infosys Wipro Cognizant highest package has been given to a CS student wedges 22 lakhs as the average is 4.2 lakh almost 90% student get placed after getting my degree I will pursue higher education in management

I have already paid 105000 till date out of 420000 (total fee) Tuition fee- 64 500 Registration fee- 30000 Student development fee -18150 Library-1500 sports and game-500 Hostel fees -33000 Student of same category have to pay the same fee as me . there are many scholarship such as e Kalyan which aids in 600000

In our College there is the cultural and technical fest which is usually held in February . Almost all books are available in our library the classrooms are equipped with CCTV, white board, projector there is a ground for cricket and football a basketball court a volleyball court a badminton court achieve there are many clubs in the college such as photographic club hardware club robotics club

In the room there is the cupboard open the meal is four times a day which is in morning in afternoon during evening and at night registration process of hostel is usually smooth and the hostel fees affordable the menu sometimes is not good and there are many pgs near our college

I applied to many colleges such as Narula institute of technology ,GNIT but I opt for this college because it is near my home and it provide same level of knowledge as the colleges I have applied so I opt for this college in my college you can get admitted through wbjee, jee mains and through direct admission the overall admission experience was smooth and the most preferred exam by students are WBJEE

The faculty student relationship is very good their approachable and helps us in our studies in our personal life as well as give us mentorship specifically for some situations and also have seen multiple task and other things. The faculty I like most is resin sir because he have such an everything and he is the all the best faculty according to me .In a semester there are 2 class test and semester exam the difficulty depends on the specific paper but usually it is from moderate to hard . There were no search thing as group discussion interview aur question for admission we have given JEE mains and the other criteria for admissions are JEE mains WBJEE as well as direct admission which is also known as management quota

There are gym cafeteria and public playgrounds near the college for 1st year hostel timing is to come before 6:30 p.m near our college there are many malls and there is a Vivekananda ashram near college where we can go during night
