Likes
- The thing that I like the most about our college is discipline. Students maintain a good and positive atmosphere inside the classroom
- There are some teachers in our college whose behaviour towards students are really good . They really co-operate with the students and under our problems
- The facility of library in our college campus helps us to gain knowledge in our leisure time . We can complete our pending works and assignments too. Overall it's an good atmosphere to complete our tasks and assignments
Dislikes
- The increase in college fees over the years and behaviour of certain teachers with the students. The are certain teachers of other departments who do not co-operate with the students of other departments
- The computers in our college lab should be checked wether they are functioning properly or not
- Overload of assignments and attendance pressure. There is a lot of overload of assignments and attendance pressure. As a student it is very difficult for us to manage these while upgrading our technical skills
Course Curriculum Overview
Now for the rating of the course curriculum I would say our course curriculum is quite good but there are certain unnecessary subjects which are having no relation with the domain or the field we are going to persue.So these subjects should be eliminated from our syllabus
Internships Opportunities
Our college offers some internship opportunities with various types of companies. There are certain paid and non paid internship opportunities provided by our college. The faculty members of our college often select some students to work on a certain project over all we have decent internship opportunities
Placement Experience
The minimum placement opportunities of our college is good . If you are in good in aptitude, Group discussions and your CV and technical skills are strong then you can easily crack a 7-10lpa job from our college. Overall our college provides decent opportunities for our placements but you need to maintain certain GPA to sit on those placements
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of my college is around 73000.This is currently our semester fees. Currently I am in my 4 th semester from the department of information technology. The course completion in our college is quite good . In this semester we are having two laboratory and six theoretical subjects . I am a non reserved candidate and I belong from general category
Campus Life
My overall experience about this college is good. We are are having both technical and other club events going on every weekend. We have different clubs and societies in our college which conducts various insightful sessions for our technical advancements. Our campus also conducts various sports events and various other competitions
Admission
So the reason I choose this college over other colleges because of its good environment and infrastructure. The placement opportunities in our college is good . So I felt that this is the college I am looking for and lastly I would like to add about it's location. As our college is situated in Asansol it's easier for me to travel now and then
Faculty
The faculty members of our department is very good. Most likely the teachers are very co-operate and understanding. Whenever we are facing any dbouts the teachers are there to help us . They inspire us and motivate us to move in the right direction by sharing some motivational and inspirational stories of our college seniors
Interview Experience
For the admission there was no group discussion round or written test. I took admission in this college through my wbjee rank . There is certain opening and closing rank through which students can apply for certain branches
Night Life
The night life around our college is quite good . We often go in the outskirts of our college in the night time to have some evening snacks or dinner . They are various food shops, fruit shops and stationary shops where we can get all our required items
