Life at MID

The course curriculum does not align with the real-world industry requirments. In the fast peced world the college needs to adpat or change the curriculum every 3-5 years. It should follow the Bloom Taxonomy approch. For better preparations college need to take exams end of every month.

This is a avarage college with a low cost or pocket friendly. Those who have some budget issue they may consider this college. If you want some discount you can connect some student for refferal and you get 10k - 20k discount. Yearly Fees: 55000 Total Fees: 165000 Scholarship:- No

Overall experience was good. The central library is too big almost 1/4th of the ground. Campus life was very good. Every year 10 -15 events were organise in the college e.g.( Republic Day (Jan), Swaraswati Puja(Feb), Holi (Mar), BiswaKarma Puja, Indepence Day(Aug), Teachers Day, Freshers Welcome, Tech Fest etc.) Our classrooms had Projecter, Boards, ACs, CCTV and computer. You can enjoy the membership of many clubs like Karate club, ROCA club (Robotics), EDC (Startups), 3 Coding clubs etc.

In the room 4 beds 4 chairs, 2 cyling fan, 2 tublight, 2 locker and 4 tables. Meal quality is avarage. Visit the register room and ask for hostel registrations they provide a form it is a simple process. 25k per semester (4166 per month including electricity, water and 4 time foods)

I chose this college for low addmission fees. When I enquired in others colleges they asked for more than 3 lakhs for 3 years BCA degree. Course Fees are low. College allows direct admission but they checked the some mendatory subjects in class 12th. If you are from Arts background, Computer subject is a must for BCA, and If the subject exists but you failed in it the college does not take admisssion.

The faculty -to-student ratio is 1:30. But the professors are realy good and they provide their 100% effort. Amoung the faculties who taught us, Prof. Suvhro Prakas Dutta (Operating System), Prof. Nirupam Barman(C Langague), Prof. Samir Khan (Mathematics) and Prof. Rajib (Mathematics), were very supportive, they cared about students feelings, mental stress, project pressures, for which I still remember them even after 4 years. Few faculties were also there whose classes I avoided. During my time (2017 - 2020), in BCA course there was total 6 semesters. Per semester included 2 internal & 1 final exams. The final exam was not very difficult. 8 out of 10 students cleared the exam. But the course curriculam was little out dated.

In the campus, the Gym remains open till 10:00 PM. Cafeterias are open till 11:00 PM. Public area shops closes by 09:30 PM. The hostel Campus is strict for the 1st year students but 2nd years onwards they can enjoy thire night life in the campus.
