Course Curriculum Overview

We have subjects like a statistic, business management in our first year later on in the second year we are supposed to go for internships for a period of 2 months which is mandatory as per the syllabus, we are asked about our experience in the interviews.

Placement Experience

Many of us get placed, except some who have other ideas like starting a business of their own or taking up other sources of earning. The salary ranges from 3 LPA to 7 LPA. Some of the companies that come here are TCS, Thyrocare and Tech Mahindra.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is very feasible as far as I know. If not also we can avail students loans and can pay later with interest. The fee for the whole course is Rs. 2,70,000, which is very less comparatively. Some management colleges charge this much money for one year itself.

Campus Life

There is no biasing between the students based on any criteria, we are all treated equally by the staff and fellow students. We have all kinds of sports. The labs are well equipped, we only get to use the computer lab.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors and alumni both are equally helpful, be it career and jobs or academics like study materials. Their network is well connected and updated. We have our alumni all over the globe working in well-known organizations.

Admission

I cleared the CAT with 60%, the minimum is 50%. One can also get admission if he/she has cleared the UPSEE exam by the government for admission into this college, based on the marks obtained in that entrance the candidate is shortlisted and merit list is created. After being called for the common counselling and selecting the course the admission is confirmed, the documents are verified after the counselling.

All our faculties are well qualified experienced professionals. We get to learn a lot from them. They teach all the complex subjects with great ease, we understand them easily too. They are very encouraging and approachable.

Honest Review of BIBS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.

IIM Calcutta is in an excellent location. There were 172 companies on campus, offering approximately 520 jobs. IIM C had a 100% placement rate, with the majority of companies coming from Consulting, BFSI, Marketing, and IT. The average package was around 28.5 lakhs, with the highest domestic CTC being 60 lakhs.

Remarks:

It is one of the renowned institutes in Kolkata. But after admission got the clear msg. It is renowned for its engineering degree only not for PGDM or MBA. They even dont have proper faculties to teach students. I majored in Business Analytics, but back to then in 2019 there was not even one teacher who have subject knowledge.

Only good remarks I can give for my college, but one bad thing is that it's very far away from my place as I stay in Howrah it took around 2 to 2½ hrs journey for college.

Remarks:

College course structure is good but as faculty are not good implementation is bad. Need company visit and better placement. More focuses on MBA rather than the additional courses. Apart from this, it's a good college.

Remarks:

The good things I like is that the teachers teach through the slides prepared by himself and also told student to prepare PowerPoint presentation and deliver in the class and also give different case study to solve the problem. Only missing thing is that the student are getting less practical knowledge as compare to theory paper.

The good thing about this college are the activities that take place every Saturday, which is quite interesting and knowledgeable. The bad thing about the college is that the departments are divided on the basis of their courses so the students do not gather as a whole bunch of college.

Life at MID

I chose this college for low addmission fees. When I enquired in others colleges they asked for more than 3 lakhs for 3 years BCA degree. Course Fees are low. College allows direct admission but they checked the some mendatory subjects in class 12th. What I Know about MID

Eligibility- in class 12th if you had computer Application/ computer science or Math, you are eligible for this course. Application process- you will find there all activities on their Facebook page[MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE OF DURGAPUR (MID)]. You neet to see. And the application form you will get from their college. And all activity dates you will get from their Facebook page. Reservations benefits are not applicable but they will provide you with a scholarship "if you ask for the scholarship".
