The fee structure of the college is 6000 per semester for CSE,ECE and 3000 per semester for ME,EE and 12000 per semester for IT, And you have to pay some other charges like library fee,laboratory at the time of admission, There are many government scholarship available for the students like SVMCM

I have a good experience about this college, you will get many more clubs which is very active and if you join this clubs you will learn some good things as a talent like photography painting dance singing this is the basic skill which people wants.

The hostel life of the KGEC is very good you will get affordable hostel life in kgec only in 2000 rs per month. you will get genuine food and genuine life in hostel you can smoke ciggerette weeds everything you can also drink here

i would like to say about the popularity about this college. This college is a goverment college in west bengal and it holds second rank throughout the west bengal form the government site engineering college and it ranks after jadavpur university.

Faculty

faculties of the good most of them are helpful when you you need them, the college is affiliated with MAKAUT so college follow the MAKAUt Examination procedure you have to give 4 class test (CA's) and Two Practical CA that is internal examination and the final semester examination for both theory and practical

Night Life

This is the college situated in kalyani, the place which is under the kalyani university campus the late night experience very good for me have some hangout places like Kalyani ITI more sarasati ganga ghat and also have very much please good places.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENT: At Brainware University students generally become eligible for campus placement from the final years of their course. For many programs placemnet preparation sactivities such as aptitude training, soft skills development, resume building, mock interviews begin earlier, you can say that these activities are incoporated from the 1st semester itself. COMAPINES VISIT: Several reowned and reputed compaines from IT, management,healthcare,media, and core sectors visits the university for campus recruitment. Placement drive include companines from domains such as software services, consulting,education,sales digital marketing etc. For my domain CSE AIML companies like Infosys,Amazon,Cognizant,Adobe etc visits. Each year multiple students receive job offers through campus drives and some students also secure multiple offers depending on their skills and performance. HIGHEST AND AVERAGE PACKAGE OFFERED: The highest package offered varies by course and recruiter and also with top performing students receive highest packages based on their role requirements and skills. It range from 12 LPA to 45 LPA. The average package offered to students is competitive for a private university and aligns with industry standards for entry level roles. These generally range from 3.5 to 8 LPA. PRECENTAGE OF STUDENTS GETTING PLACED: Placement outcome mostlky depend on academic performance, attendance, communication skills, technical knowledge, and participation in training sessions. Students who actively engage in placement preparation have better placement success. About 98% students were placed in 2023. Placement was average if you have good background knowledge so you will definitely get placed. After 7th semester companies started coming and also there is different criteria for all companies like some company required more than 8 CGPA that completely dependent on company preferences. Mainly mass recruiter companies like TCS, wipro, Infosys, cognizant comes here.Some top notch mncS like oracle,amazon, Microsoft also comes here .One senior of our previous batch got 1 cr Per annum in off campus way. Avg package is 10 lpa like . Jft and pst branch has full 100% placement. My plan after getting the degree is to be placed in top notch mnc & work as SDE.

The placement cell of my college is very strong.From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements.There are around 50 companies visited in the college such as TCS,Intel. Microsft. Deloitte,etc.205 students are placed in TCS in year 2019. 415 students are placed in campus placement last year. Maximum CTC was 25 lacs/pa and average CTC was 5.5 lacs/pa previous year.After Jadhavpur University,the average CTC of the college is higher than IEM. Above 95% placements for IT,CSE and ECE students.There are around 55-60% placements in other department.My plans are doing some great things after getting the degree.

KGEC REVIEW

I gave West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination in 2024. I scored a decent rank but due to high cut off of this year I didn't get good branch in Jadavpur University.
