Sneak Peak into the life of SCMHRDIANS!

Fees and Financial Aid:

As far as I am aware there is no such defined fees hike policy but hike depends on the placement report i guess. I am pursuing MBA in Human Resources form the batch 2023-25 and it cost me around 24 lacs for the entire period which included mess charges, hostel fees and other charges for amenities. Here at SCMHRD, several professional certificate assistance are provided in the form of scholarship for CFA and provision for SHRM also. As of now, I have not availed any of the financial assistance. I have been placed in Ather Energy for my summer internship but as i have not received my offer letter so the stipend amount is not known to me yet.

SCMHRD - A young and budding college that has a lot to offer you

SCMHRD Pune is also affiliated with Symbiosis International University and is AACSB approved. According to the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework of 2021, the college is the 5th best B school and the 5th best school of eminence in India. College charges around 18 lakhs in total as a college fee for the course. Students receive a decent placement package from the college, with an average payout of 14.7 lakhs. The majority of pupils are placed.

There is a considerable increase in the fees charged for the course in the last five years. Financial assistance is available for some in form of scholarships. The placements provided by the college for summer internships and full-time jobs are at par with top private B-Schools across the country. An average annual package of around 18 Lacs is at par with the fees charged.

SCMHRD- Review

The fee is about 5.75 LPA for the first sem and a bit lower for the second sem. SIU Scholarships are available and well Summer internship process and final placement process start off in September and October respectively. The placement reports are available on the college website. ROI is good.

My MBA Experience

I do not have much idea about the fees hike policy and my cost to study for two years totals to about 22.75 lacs. I have not gotten any scholarship or financial assistance. Since I am in my first year I am yet to bag a job.

The course fee for the first year was rupees 620000 and the second year I was paid rupees 620000. The highest salary package offered is 34 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 20 LPA. The student securing top in entrance test also get a scholarship.

The SIBM Journey

There used to be a 5 lakh scholarship for the top 25 students but was discontinued later on. Hence other scholarship would be the sem topper from each branch which was also discontinued. So currently, I do not see any scholarship as of now.

SIBM Pune Experience

Fees for the 2020-2022 batch was around 22L. Most of the banks provide loans up to 20L without collateral. The contact details of these banks are available on the website. Scholarship details are also provided on the website. During my year top 25 students were given a 5L scholarship. Semester toppers also receive scholarships. The average stipend is around 2L.

Fees were very nominal as compared to other MBA colleges of the same league. It was also because this college catered to 80% of defense kids. The ROI was very good since the fees were not that much but the CTC package was decent.

For MBA - Approx 21.5 lacs (including mess and hostel fees). For MBA(Business Analytics) - Approx 17 lacs. For MBA(Infrastructure and Development) - Approx 14.8 lacs. The campus offers a plethora of opportunities by way of live projects and internships.
