SCMHRD- Review

The smooth admission process, started off with an entrance exam SNAP test based on which we were shortlisted for GD/PI/WAT rounds. We were free to choose any date/slot from a number of given choices. Due to the pandemic, the process was online but was conducted without any hiccups. After about 20-25 days we got the scores of the GD/PI/WAT round based on which we were assigned ranks and admission lists were rolled out.

Being an AACSB accredited college, the curriculum and course structure is pretty well thought out. Teaching takes place with help of case studies and lives examples wherever possible. The term exams were conducted timely and were easy enough to score good marks if you've studied in the class.

The summer internship process occurs in the 1st semester and over 100 recruiters take part in it and students get placed very quickly. Internships are available for different roles in finance, marketing, and HR. More information is available on the college page about the same.

Students usually sit for the summer internship process in September (1st semester) and for final placements in October (third semester). 100% placements happen and many students receive PPOs from companies they interned at. Some students win PPOs from participating in various competitions as well.

The fee is about 5.75 LPA for the first sem and a bit lower for the second sem. SIU Scholarships are available and well Summer internship process and final placement process start off in September and October respectively. The placement reports are available on the college website. ROI is good.

Have been studying in the online mode as of now. The people here are nice and the seniors are always there for us. There's a lot of societies to choose from and you can always go for any committee that you have an interest in! The campus has all the modern infrastructure facilities. The hostel does not permit any appliances like an electric stove or a heater and LAN cables are provided.

The rooms are mostly for three people in a room. Three beds, three cupboards, and three separate sets of tables and chairs are available with an attached bathroom and an attached toilet as well. The hostel food is good. College is residential and you are not allowed to live outside the campus.

SNAP Test was conducted as part of the written exam. Subsequent rounds included a GD, PI, and WAT based on which scores were rolled out and ranks were given. The criteria for being shortlisted for GDPIWAT was 98.5+ percentile in SNAP this year.
