JBIMS Campus & Facilities
The campus area of JBIMS is not that big. It is a single red bricked building. The campus has a decent sized auditorium, classrooms, library, canteen and space for leisure activities and committee rooms. The classrooms is equipped with all the latest techology and is air-conditioned. The library of JBIMS is one of the best with a collection of around 4000 books and 1000 journals.
JBIMS Hostel
JBIMS doesn’t have any hostel of its own. Only top 25 students are provided accommodation on the merit basis in the Mumbai University hostel situated at Marine drive. Also these facilities are only for boys and girls have to find their own accomodation.

JBIMS MMS batch intake is 160. JBIMS offers admission to full-time courses such as MMS under 5 specializations and M.Sc. in Finance. MMS is equivalent to MBA courses offered by other institutes. The candidates will have to appear for the entrance tests conducted on the state-level by DTE Maharashtra followed by CAP counseling to get admission to the MMS program.
A lot of games and sports activities are conducted in the college, but facilities like sports grounds don't exist. JBIMS does not have a timetable, it is a night before that one gets to know what the next morning has in store for them. The next day is most likely to be packed with classes and guest lectures, followed by company presentations and post-class discussions. The ‘Hamara Bajaj’ Anthem is a known song, popularly uniting all of them.
The event conducted by The Alumni Committee includes the felicitation of 'The Golden Jubilee', ‘The Silver Jubilee’, and ‘The Decade’ batch. In addition to the flagship event Nostalgia, the Alumni committee also organizes Chapters based on alumni based out of different cities. The alumni committee of M.Sc. Finance, JBIMS (Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies) is responsible for maintaining a strong relationship between the institute and its alumni. Its function includes organizing alumni events, facilitating communication between alumni and current students, collecting, and updating alumni information, supporting alumni career development, and networking. Fundraising initiative for a school for intellectually challenged children: The committee paid a visit to Sahyadri Adivasi Vikas Pratishthan, a residential school for intellectually challenged children in Chinchvali, Karjat. A number of fun-filled activities were conducted to engage the children. NEXUS is an excellent platform to showcase all kinds of different talents ranging from arts, education, and sports to informal ones like JAM. Nexus etches a mark on the academic calendar and all the students forward for these dates. Nexus also inculcates holistic development of the personality of the students providing a break from the monotonous routine of academics. JBIMS also look forward to elevating confidence and also inculcating team building, especially in challenging situations.

JBIMS Mumbai is recognised as one of the prestigious and prominent MBA institutions in India. The salient features of JBIMS Mumbai MBA are as follows:
JBIMS boasts of securing higher ranking by multiple organisations such as 19th rank by IIRF in 2024, 10th rank for MBA by TOI and 22nd rank for MBA by India Today 2023. It has recorded 100% placement percentage in the recent year. It also provides scholarships to the needy and meritorious students. The scholarship amount is 1 lac for tuition fees and 50 thousand for study expenses.
JBIMS offers MMS course instead of MBA in its campus. JBIMS does not accept CMAT examination for MMS course. It accepts the scores of MAH CET examination or CAT scores (Common Admission Test). For final admission, candidates need to appear for CAP round condcuted by DTE.
The registration for the exam is over, however the exam date hasn’t been released and is likely to be conducted in April 2024.
