Hostel Facilities:

Hostel is of university of mumbai. Hostel rooms are spacious and provided with all the required furniture. Meals are provided which include breakfast, lunch and dinner. After Admission to the college, you are eligible to apply for hostel. After filling out the hostel form, the hostel is allocated. Fees for hostel is 8000 per year. Affordable and location is great.

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel facility is very affordable, good hygenic place, near to college,and the best part is that it is in front of the marine drive. The rooms are spacious, and it is 3 sharing room where each student is given separate bed, table, chair, and almirah. The washrooms are cleaned daily. The workers are also good and warden mam is also helpful.

Yes. The institute offers 25 seats at a Government Boys hostel located in Churchgate. Hostel is allotted based on merit. The hostel is in a prime location at Churchgate, a minutes' walk from the Marine Drive.

Awesome College in South Bombay.

Hostel Facilities:

JBIMS does have a shared hostel facility along with Mumbai University students. The hostel intake is 30 from MMS and is close to Churchgate station, a 5-minute walk to the college. The hostel is allocated on basis of merit to students who are from outside Mumbai. As many students happen to be from the city itself, they live in their homes. Other students live in rented apartments or PGs. The rentals can vary from 5k/month to 12k/month depending on the area of residence and specific requirements.

JBIMS one of the best college known for its ROI.

Dislikes

Hostel availability is somewhat limited. Only few boys students gets hostel accommodation. Girls usually gets hostel accommodation.

Campus Life:

A very first week after admission we had an Induction program conducted by senior batch. They teach about industry requirements, personality development, resume building, basics of curriculum so that we should not get overwhelmed when we attend actual faculty lectures. During the induction process we learnt about team work and thats where our bonding with other batch mates starts to build. They arranged guest lectures which were relevant as far as curriculum is concerned. JBIMS offeres various clubs and committees which are run by students like Backbay Magzine, Students acedemic committee, placements committee, PR committee etc

Campus Life:

Campus life is very dynamic and hectic but fun nonetheless it teaches you to become a an efficient manager. The campus has a library which contains a huge range of books, journals and articles, it even has HBRs. It has AC and Non-AC rooms and good speed wifi. Good place to study. One of the best facilities provided to the students is the hostel facility I have my hostel located in the prime location of South Bombay with a very good infrastructure. Quality of space , infrastructure,mess facilities and sanitation is very appreciable. Registration process is very smooth and less time taking. Staff and guards of the hostel are very supportive and caring.

My journey in JBIMS so far has been a very enriching experience. We get opportunities to paricipate in various case competitions and involves lot of learnings. College has huge libraray with thousands of books on each n every aspect of the management studies and even extra curricular topics. Leading magazines and daily newspapers are made available to us. We have access of all the research papers and journals on our ID. We also get opportunity to parcipate in community intiatives. Our batch got chance to work with MENDONSA Foundation to create awareness about Eye Health among School Going Children through "Walk for your Eye" campaign. CSR club of college have recently conducted drive for Stem Cells. clubs and teams like Catalyst Forum, Marketing club, PR commitee, Induction commitee, Student administration committee, Placement commitee are of vital importance.

The infrastructure is quite simple with basic facilities available on the campus. The college has a library where you will find a great collection of books. Currently we have committees like the Placement Committee, PR Committee, CSR Committee and SAC. Where are some housing living accommodation options for a girl attending JBIMS at Churchgate?

You have the option of staying in the girls' hostel at the Mumbai University Campus in Kalina. A classmate of yours moved there in the second semester and reported having a positive experience. Here are some of its key features:

You can easily access the university canteen which is located just a minute away from the hostel.
The campus itself is well-maintained with plenty of green spaces and your hostel is located near the main gate.
You can take a shared rickshaw to Santacruz Station, which is just a 5-8 minute ride away. From Santacruz to Churchgate, you can travel by train in approximately 40 minutes. Additionally, it is a 5-minute walk or a 2-minute taxi ride from the station to the college. Thus, you can expect an hour of travel time from the hostel to JBIMS.
Each person is assigned their own room and there is no need for sharing.
The Business District Centre (BKC) is located just 10 minutes away from the university.
You can visit the American Library, which is located 15 minutes away, and study for hours while accessing their vast collection of books for free.

The single Red Bricked building of JBIMS includes a Decent-sized Auditorium, Classrooms, Library, Canteen, Leisure & Committee Rooms. JBIMS has classrooms with Air-conditioning & Wifi. Dr. K. S. Basu Memorial Auditorium has a Sitting Capacity of 150 People. JBIMS is one of the oldest B-schools in India with a legacy of over 52 years. JBIMS was established in 1965 by the University of Mumbai. JBIMS does not have Gymnasium facilities for the students. Besides this, JBIMS does not have hostel of its own. It has rented hostel which provides accomodation to only 25 students. The students are selected on the basis of merit.

JBIMS is not only for providing admission to Maharashtra students. However, most of the seats are reserved for Maharashtra students around 102 whereas All India seats are only 18 and for NRI, the number of seats is 18.
