Course Curriculum Overview
There are a total of four specialization offered by the college and the college is specialized for hr placement which attracted me. The curriculum is rigorous and there are slot of learning opportunities.
Internships Opportunities
Majority of the companies come for the internships of hr students. However, the information about companies and the stipend cannot be disclosed as this is against the rules of the college. Some companies recruit the GDs and interviews while some of them recruit directly through casecoms.
Placement Experience
The placement committee provides internship opportunities which is to be done at the end of 1st year. Then the final placement opportunities are also provided. As the college specialized in HR placements many mncs come in for the same and the best oppurtunities are provided.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees is INR 600000 (INR 300000 for each year). The hostel fees is Rs 50000 for each year. The fee is same for all categories, except the students who get a scholarship. Scholarship to students are granted not more than 80%.
Campus Life
The initial two months after I came in were a bit rigorous in terms of casecoms, batch meets, assignment. However, this is what the college does to maintain discipline among the students. The college provides opportunities to students to be a part of various clubs to all students.
Admission
The hr placements of the college was best among others and as I wanted to go for hr I chose this college. No I did not get any rejection from other colleges that I applied for. The students are required to appear for the CAT examination followed by interviews of shortlisted candidates.
Faculty
The faculty to teacher ratio is somewhere around 7:1. The faculty maintains a good relation with the students and the students also appreciate the efforts made by them. Each semester consists of two exams, mid-term and the finals with difficult level being moderate.
Night Life
The college provides facilities like gym, cafeteria within the campus itself. As the discipline is maintained among the students no student is allowed to report after 10 in the night and therefore no night life exists. However, this is done for the students itself.
