Anonymous's Review On SDA Bocconi Asia Center, Mumbai

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

International business is the future. If you want to grow and work at a global level. Masters in international business would be the best choice. Plus, at Bocconi, you can explore all the specializations in the first whole year and only in the second year you have to choose one, which you actually do in Bocconi, Milan. It is quite costly, but if you get here and work hard, it can pay off really well due to the number of opportunities they provide. The faculty here is majorly from Bocconi, Milan itself. So, you get to learn a completely different approach and perspective.

As far as I have researched till now, I know that you might get a useless one but Bocconi certainly can get you a job. The scene here is top 20% students always get placed for a package of more 15 lakhs and others don't go below 7 lakhs. Average is usually around 12 lakhs. There are some 60+ recruiters who visit college like H&M, PWC, ICICI bank,etc.

The campus life in Bocconi is pretty amazing. Since the crowd that joins is all A category so the environment is always healthy and highly motivated. Though this is going to be my first year but it's delayed due to corona I just visited the college once. But the students I spoke to, had all these amazing things to say about it and more.

I have not applied for any loan but I know a thing or two about scholarships here. Based on your entire profile, you are provided with scholarship based on your talent. The amount of scholarship is usually 30% and 50% for freshers and 30%,50% and 80% for experienced individuals.

As far as I have explored till now, there are only 2 floors, the classrooms are peacefully white and bright. They have a digital library and there is a canteen in the campus itself. They do not have any sports ground of their own. There are about 15 classrooms.

Yes I have, hostels here are more like a flat with a 24 hour maid. So it's pretty relaxing. Each flat has two 2 sharing rooms, a kitchen and a cozy hall. All the facilities are provided like, cleaning, laundry, AC, etc. Only food is an issue but it's easily arrangeable as there are many tiffin services nearby.
