Symbiosis Institute of Geoinformatics (SIG) Pune is the first institute to recognize the trend of Geoinformatics and took initiatives that lead to its inception in 2004. SIG falls in line with the legacy of Symbiosis International University in Pune, SIG provides its students with the best in terms of education and learning environment. The college is established under Sec. 3 of UGC and is accredited with grade “A++” by NAAC.
SIG Pune offers a variety of courses including Master of Science Geoinformatics, M.Tech Geoinformatics and Surveying Technology, Master of Science (Environment & Sustainability) Post Graduate Diploma in Geoinformatics, Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster Management and Certificate Course Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, Spatial economics and customized certificate courses.
Above courses have been created to educate students to meet the growing demands of Facility utility management, environmental impact, GIS development, remote sensing, Spatial analysis, photogrammetry, navigation, and e-governance.
