SAII Pune Sports Scholarships
The Scholarship for outstanding sportspersons of SIU representing the University in Intervarsity/ State level/ National or International tournaments or exhibiting exemplary performance in external events other than that with the University. The scholarships will be decided on the basis of performance/participation in major recognized International sports events like Olympic Games, World Cup/Championships, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games/Championships as a member of the National team/ State team/ District teams, etc. Any athletes participating in Olympics and World/ Asian/ Common Wealth Games championship, will be directly considered for the scholarship. The short-listed candidates will be called for an interview which will be conducted by Committee.

SAII Pune Merit-Based Scholarships
This scholarship is awarded to 4 semester toppers in the order of merit of every batch of every degree programme (UG and PG) under SIU. The Scholarship recipients are granted a rebate of Academic Fees of the semester, applicable to all full time Post Graduate and Under Graduate degree programmes of all the Constituents of SIU, as tabulated below. However, candidates must note that the scholarship amount will not be paid directly to the students. It will be transferred by the University directly to the Constituent, for the adjustment in academic fee of the following semester.
