The course curriculum is up to date and we get all the resources to study.. library has all the books available and we can issue it with the help of our library card. There are 4 exams plus assignment in each course every sem. This includes two quiz, 1 midsem and 1 endsem

Students are eligible for campus placements in 4th, although you'll have companies approaching you for internships by the time your in 3rd year. NITK Surathkal has a Career Development Cell (CDC) that organizes placement drives and training sessions to help students improve their employability and confidence Many companies visit the National Institute of Technology Surathkal (NITK) for campus placements, including top companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, and Qualcomm. The number of companies that visit NITK has increased over the years, and the institute's placement rate has also improved. The highest offers were made by the BTech CSE, Electrical, Civil, Mechanical and Chemical students. Myntra offered the highest salary of INR 30 LPA to a BTech CSE Student during NITK Surathkal Placements 2024. The overall placement rate achieved was 87.22%. I don't have much plans, not really a startup or entrepreneur type of guy, I'm only aiming for a high package around 20-30 lpa

From semester 5, the students are eligible for internships, interviews for which are being taken in the campus only. If a student wants, he can apply for off campus internships too before semester 5 but he must be aware of the 75% attendance policy strictness here. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Infosys, etc come for placement and roughly 6-7 cgpa is the minimum criteria for sitting in placement interviews. Students from core branches can give interviews for tech companies too. Highest package is roughly ?55 lakhs and average is nearly ?18 lakhs in on-campus placements. And roughly 88% students get placed every year. I don't have much plans after getting the degree, either job or any business.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the seventh semester onwards. There are at least 200 prominent recruiters in our college from Microsoft and Google for software to Mercedes and Volvo for core engineering. For electrical, there are companies like Samsung, Nvidia, Intel, etc. Around 80% of students got placed in the previous year. The highest package offered is 55 LPA. 90% of students apply for placements after college, I will most likely do the same and try to secure a job via campus placement.

Placements are good you can apply for placements from 7th semester some students get ppo from internships im 3rd semester. Many companies come for on site recruiting and people get placed at those companies

College placements are decent here. Right now due to recession the offers and companies that is coming to the students is less but it should improve by next year. Around 90-95% of the students are place in all branches. I wanna either get a job in core civil side or I'll do my MBA and then decide what exactly I wanna do either sales or continue in civil.

Placement percentage differ every year depending on various factors.Most of the time it is 75% plus.Highest and avg package also differs year on year.Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, samsung, Qualcomm,BEL, GAIL,IoCL and many other MNC's and PSU'S hire through clg.

From 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements, there are more than 100 companies visited for my college nitk, companies like bajaj auto, caterpillar, amazon, flipkart, zomato, hindustan cocacola, deloitte, google, Microsoft, texas instruments, philips carbon black, oracle, tcs, 99 games, tata consultancies services, and many other companies. The highest package was 55lpa in computet science department this academic year, and average is like 18lpa for all over branches, In my department electrical and communication engineering the average package is like 21lpa and median package is also around 20lpa which is good only. My plans after getting degree is to get a job in campus placements only and work for some years and then my interests ill search off

Oh placement is one of the reasons for me joining nitk if u r a not circuit branch student and still want to sit for circuital branches placement u r free to do so almost 90% placement level is seen in nitk Tere are so many mncs and also industrial placement are also pretty decent

In 5th and 6 th semester , students will get an opportunities for the companies during a summer break for an internship. where a student can grab an internship and can convert into a full Time role as a job (PPO) or else studentts can start their journey for capus placements in th sem and will be elgible for the company.Most of the companies elgible those students who are having CGPA above or equal to 7.Around 250-300 companies were recruited last year and Top companies are Google , Microsoft ,Uber and paulo alto and following companies recruit students by providing around 25 LPA are Oracle, Ring central ,qualcomm,texas ,Wells Fargo and more.. core chemical companies are Exxon Mobill , RIL ,kongsberg Digital Dr.reddys laboratory and PSU's. The Highest packaage in Chemical branch will be around 18 LPA and average salary will be around 10-12 LPA . which differ due to the circumstances . In Tech side Highest salary will be of 50_60 LPA and averaage salary will be around 25 LPA.
