The placements ar pretty good, with top companies attending them. Companies such as Goldman Sachs, google, microsoft etc participate in them. The highest package goes around 56lpa, the average for cse being around 28lpa. 95% of them are placed.

As this was a good college, it provides good internship and placement opportunities from good companies globally. Placement packages were also great and the average packages were also nice. It was 27 lakhs for my branch.

The placements of nitk are exceptional the average package is around 14 lakhs and the placements percentage is around 90 percentage which is very great. The highest package is around 60 lakhs per annum

I suggest that they can also teach another program like for us in chemistry cycle there is python but in physics cycle there is nothing like that if they teach c program in p cycle that will help us a lot. Exam's difficulty is normal

Curriculum is designed and will prepared.It helps in preparing students for a long term so that they can serve society in a proper way. A regular exams and quiz and test are being conductedin our college.

Students become eligible for placements in 7th semester almost 600 companies visited and offer so many jobs.highest package is 60 lakh per annum and average package is 19 lakh per annum.93% of the students are getting placed.

As I don't know more about it but I heard that from 7th semester only we become eligible for placements Delhivary,adobe,tata and other prestige companies Highest package is 55 lakh per annum and lowest is 12 lakh per annum

Placements in NITK Surathkal is very good and gives lots of opportunities for students. Students become eligible for campus placements in their seventh semester. Many top companies visit the campus for placements and almost all students get placed if they prepare well. The placement process is organized and the institute has strong ties with industries. For example, in recent placement season, Computer Science and Engineering department had 99.8% placement rate. Highest package offered was ?58 lakhs per annum and average package was ?29 lakhs per annum. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon and Adobe visited campus and hired many students. The profiles offered were mostly in software development, data science, and cloud engineering. The Electronics and Communication Engineering department also did very well with 96.43% placement rate. Highest package for this branch was ?54.75 lakhs per annum and average package was around ?16 lakhs per annum. Companies like Qualcomm, Intel, and Texas Instruments visited for hiring. In Information Technology, placements were also great. Out of 137 eligible students, 102 got placed on campus and 4 got off-campus placements. The highest salary package offered in IT was ?55 lakhs per annum and average package was ?24.56 lakhs per annum. The profiles offered included software engineering, system design, and machine learning. Chemical Engineering had 92.59% placement rate. The highest package for this branch was ?32 lakhs per annum and median package was ?12 lakhs per annum. Companies like Reliance, BPCL, and Honeywell hired students for roles in process engineering and production management. Overall, placement rate for most departments is very high and institute provides support for students to get good job offers. The highest packages in some branches are very impressive but even average packages are good compared to many other colleges.

If student have some programing knowledge already from 1st yr then he can get internship in 1st yr itself it may be paid or unpaid depends on skills student have usually internship start from 3rd yr one of our senior get 1lakh internship at amazon for 1month . For campus placement students must have CGPA more than 7.5 otherwise he is not eligible for campus placement. All big companies are visiting our college like Amazon, Google, flipkart,adob, microsoft,mahindra ,hdfc,bank of america, kotak, bajaj india, etc All times it happens that highest package goes to tech companies last year the highest package is 54 lpa and the avg package is 20 lpa for whole college it vary with branch like mining branch highest package was 30 lpa and avg package was 12 lpa . On an average 85 to 90 % student get placed who are registered for the placement. It also vary with branch like It - 99% placement Cse-98% Mining -90% etc.. After getting degree 1st I tried to placed through campus placement after that I am improving myself and finding of campus placement as I am from core branch so college didn't focused more on core branch to placed in it sector that's why only 20% of it company which visiting the college allowed to sit the core branch in placement with cgpa criteria..
