NIT Silchar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

My seniors were able to land a Job at the Hottest Companies like Bridge & Roof Co. Ltd., Veritas, IBM, MathWorks, Oyo, Oracle, Goibibo, Optum Unitedhealth Group, Tredence, First American, Posoco, Dalmia Cement, and Prism Cement. Each year the careers fairs, workshops, and presentations attract more than 600 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors; no other university works harder to get my career off the ground.

The college placement is as per the industrial standards and norms. The college has a very good record of 100% placement. The college placement cell plays a major role in the placement process as the cell is fully responsible for our packages and as well our performance in the placement rounds as they fully guide and train us for the placements rounds. The highest package for our batch was around 25 LPA and the average package was approx 12 LPA.

I have cleared my GATE 2020 examination and participated in the counseling process of CCMT. The campus of the college is big and green, I always wanted to be in such a campus where I can enjoy my studies as well as be close to nature, that's why I preferred this college over other.

Its what i got. I didnt get any other better college and with the less marks i had i chose the best i could prefer.The college was a nice place with clean and silent atmosphere anf experienced teachers

Better research scope and better faculties was the key factor which encouraged me to join this campus. Our director sir and our faculties of nit silchar are highely motivated and are always engaged in research works and innovative projects. Better natural beauty due to situation of college is also a key factor for selection of this college. Our college has a very beautiful campus expanded in 625 acres of land with 12 lakes. Tea garden in our campus also enhances the beauty of our college. All the faculty are highely qualified and promote research works. College administration promotes research works by offering a number of scholarships and allowances to the students and research scholars. Well furnished hostels with better arrangement of water and electricity being offered to the students is thing to be noticed. Mess facility is n NITS is very satisfactory. Messes are well arranged and furnished with all safety measures of cleanliness and quality of food. Our college is performing very well on district level in sports because of better efforts of college administration for promoting and arranging the events and facilities related to sports for students. Because of overall better performance of our college, our collage has scored a very good position in NIRF ranking and still continuously improving every year because of its rising standard of quality in education and facility.

It's among the top 10 NITs as per NIRF rankings. Infrastructure and Facilities are good here. College located in pollution free zone filled with lakes. Campus placements are also good. Climate and weather here is refreshing

It is in top 10 nits and the lab facilities is impressive. Teachers are very supportive and the hostel facilities are very good and the exposure and environment is very healthy and pollution free. The placement facilities is very much impressive.

It's a very reputed institute among all the NITs and facilities are highly qualified in their areas. I want to continue my research work on Traffic safety so I have chosen this Institute. Beside all this I am a travel freak and North East is like heaven for me.
