- Firstly the campus is really beautifull and big
- Sports culture in our college is quite good
Dislikes
- The work load is a bit hectic in the case of academic
- The city is underdeveloped so you get less places to chill
Campus Life:
There are two fests mainly tecnoesis (tehnical fest) and incandescence (cultural fest) .mainly incandescence is the best fest as compared to others Sports and other facilities are there in our college and everyone has access to those There are also many clubs like gdsc,ml club, coding club and also clubs like dance club, music club
Likes
- NIT SILCHAR has a beautiful campus and there's a lot of greenery.
- The faculties and peer groups are nice here.
Dislikes
- Inefficient lab equipment which hampers proper experiments
- The pressure here is immense, although that must be true for all top tier colleges
Campus Life:
We have two main fests, cultural fest called INCANDESCENCE and a tech fest known as TECNOESIS. A big budget is released for the proper conduction of both these events which usually goes around for an entire week. The classroom facilities and other stuff is also good
Likes
- Beautiful and large campus having greenery all over the area .
- The senior and junior culture is not too strict means ragging cases is very less .
Dislikes
- Here weather is very unpredictable one it will be cold and other day too sunny.
- Hostel to college classroom are very far like 1 kms
Campus Life:
Our college have numerous clubs and societies which are totally into their objectives. They organise different events for students to explore more about them push the emerging talents. Also the sports is quite impressive every sport have their own feilds .
Likes
- It's about college when it comes in getting into IITs or NITs. NIT Silchar also a reputed NIT that comes under top 10 NITs in India.
- All faculties are highly educated(IITs scholars) and backed by high experience in research and professorship.
Dislikes
- The location of college is a factor that I feel it didn't get more recognition which it deserve. Silchar belongs to south Assam and for students coming from other state it becomes a problems of travelling if comes from train.
- Mode of teaching can be more interactive by few faculties.
Campus Life:
Campus life is good. It has lot of clubs where students can take part and grow themselves and all the necessary facilites are being provided. College conducts many fest like Tech fest and culltural fests. It has the Asia's argest digital library where you can get all resources. It has SAC building and sport complex for various activities.
Likes
- There is a lot of things I liked about the collage like the biggest and greenest campus in all NITS.
- The environment of the college is also very friendly.
Dislikes
- Weather of the region is unpredictable, any time you can expect rain .
- Humidity is high in this region so that can be problematic some times and very irritating.
Campus Life:
My college life is the best time of my life I have lived yet . Are there are two big fests in college one is technical and other is cultural.Technical is held in oct-nov and the cultural is held in Feb. Fest are the best time of the college. There is a lot of clubs and societies for mostly every activity.

- Good placement opportunities since a long period in NIT silchar.

- Poor Network inside the Campus is a problem
Campus Life:
The campus life of NIT Silchar is what makes it stand out from other colleges. With amazing greenery and the scenic beauty of tea gardens and lakes, it is the best place for people who want to spend quality time in nature. Apart from that there are 30+ clubs and societies which is amazing and provides enough exploration for freshers. The fests in the college are Technosis at October, Incandescence at Feb and festivals like Diwali, Poushya and Bihu.
Likes
- The college environment is good between nature surrounded by lakes and beauty.
- The faculty is good enough and the teaching methodology is satisfactory.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is not upto the mark and is not well maintained.
- Paper checking is very strict and the academics is very hectic
Campus Life:
The technical fest is called Tecnoesis and the cultural fest is called Incandescence. It has Asia biggest digital library with a wide variety of books and access to the kNimbus online libraray for journals.n Classrooms are quipped with sound systems and projectors. Spoorts are great with many medals in Inter NIT. Aaveg, Advay, Illuminits and many other clubs are there to develop other skiulls and benefit the students
Likes
- The college has a huge lush green campus of 650 acres with plenty of sports facilities a basketball court , football field ,Tennis court, Basketball court , Indoor stadium Kho kho and Kabaddi field and a Student activity Center
- The professors are highly qualified with some being in the list oh world's top 2% scientist in the world.
Dislikes
- The Time Schedule might turn out quite hectic at times at time classes starting from 8 am in the morning to 5 PM in the evening
- Though teachers are highly qualified not all are good at teaching and some are at times even too strict
Campus Life:
The campus is quite large 650 acres lush green with 21 lakes. Their are almost all the sports facilities teenis,cricket, football, lawn tennis table tennis, vollleyball, badminton,etc. I have played basketball, chess, tennis here. There are multiple clubs which organise multiple events through out the year ensuring student engagement, I participated in hackathons, Treassure hunts workshops . I am a volunteer of NSS and a part of it I went to villages for conducting surveys , donation camps, which helped me develop my communication skills and dealing with different kinds of people.
Likes
- Sports facilities are very good like very big cricket and football ground with lightning facilities and indoor complex for indoor games like badminton table tennis etc
- Campus area is 660 acres and there is greenery all around the campus
Dislikes
- Weather conditions are not quite good there is rain at any time
- Vegetarians face a little bit problems in nit cafe and shops
Campus Life:
Campus life is that there are lots of club it's dance club photography club cricket club teaching club and nss social help group and in campus there is Asia's biggest digital library from where you can access books

- Campus has good maintained a cricket ground and a football ground with flood lights
- Good boys and girls ratio ,it is something around 1:5
Dislikes
- Weather of Silchar is not predictable it is very uncertain
- Infrastructure can be improved by administrator
Campus Life:
Campus Life is good in NIT silchar. In college so many clubs are running such as cricket club,and other sports clubs, machine learning club,coding club , photography club(name?obittivo),dance club,music club etc . And also all branches have its own society In campus a very big library present which has so many books and journals presents. Library has also ebooks
