Underrated NIT

Curriculum is very tight in 1st semester we have 5 theory subject and which is I thing fine. Teaching method is fine not very advanced but also not very old type teaching. Exam has good level of questions and evolution of marks is also very tight

MNCs like Google , Microsoft,Facebook giving internship and also give the placement to students this year so many students are selected for internship in Google and Microsoft, college has a well settled placement cell which bring companies to college

Placement record is very good in NIT silchar ,in 2023 , median package of Computer science and engineering is 18 lpa and average is 24.6lpa Not only CSE placement is also good in other branches overall median of all branches is 10lpa and average is 14lpa .highest package is 80lpa So many companies come to hire students

Fees is according to students financial status if any general or obc category students have family income less than 100000 then there is full tution fee concession only mess fees and some other fees will be charged. And sc/st students charged no any fees. I paid 90k for this year including mess and hostel fees

Campus Life is good in NIT silchar. In college so many clubs are running such as cricket club,and other sports clubs, machine learning club,coding club , photography club(name?obittivo),dance club,music club etc . And also all branches have its own society In campus a very big library present which has so many books and journals presents. Library has also ebooks

There are so many hostels in campus with good facilities . In a room 2 students live .rooms are in good condition , beds are also good Room has 2 bed ,2 table,2 chair, 1 tubelight and 1 fan and a bulbs . Mess food is also good . This is good college overall and it's placement record is far better than other private colleges and most of NIT so I choose here CSE . Eligibility for admission in this college is 75% in 12th , qualified jee mains examination with minimum 99%ile . Very easy admission process and seniors are guide to you during your admission process so it is very helpful

Faculty is highly qualified and very helpful Course structure is good There are 3 major exam are held in a semester Mid semester,minors,and end semester. Marks weightage like 30+50+20 =100 Where 30 for mid semester and 50 marks for end semester and 20 marks is internal I liked computer science faculty and maths faculty
