Course Curriculum Overview
The course is basically chemistry and engineering mixture so I had interest in chemistry and wanted to do engineering also my rank was allowing this branch so I went for it . There's a quite lot time to do things to improve skills. Exams are not very frequent but the level is medium to hard. I thing teaching methods can be improved but insuring more no. Of labs
Internships Opportunities
Companies come for internship in our college like Amazon ,jp morgan, de shaw, Flipkart for software developer and consulting. People get pre placement offers there in the company very often. They give stipend ranging from 1-1.5 lakhs.
Placement Experience
The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees is 1 l lakh/semester for normal student and 30 percent for the student with income below 5 lakhs , the tuition fees is about 1lakh and mess fees is 20000 per semester and hostel fees is about 5 thousand there is hospital charge for hospital facilities inside campus that is 1000/sem so in total it is about 1,32000 for a normal student . People with less than 5 lakhs income will pay 1/3 of the tution fees. Girls will have scholarships on first year for their college fees.
Campus Life
Campus Life is so amazing the campus in is beautiful and we have so many fests the annual fest is called alcheringa and technical fest is called techniche. There's a central library with thousands of books including all the course books available . All the sports and extracurricular activities are done including football tennis cricket basketball volleyball and many more. There are many technical and cultural clubs.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are nice we have double occupancy room till 2 nd year and after that single occupancy . The meals are nice and the menu is made keeping the balanced diet in mind. Everyone who is in college gets registered in hostels.
Admission
I chose this college because this is one of the top 7 institute for engineering in India i applied for all 6 institutes which I failed to be in because it was based on the performance in JEE which is the entrance process for IITs. There's jee mains and advanced on getting a decent rank in advanced we can get into my college.
Faculty
The faculties are quite sufficient and the ratio is about 1:20 and they are very very qualified. There are many good faculties likes John Jose and inkulu almost all the faculties are good because of their capabilities. There are quizzes and then there is midsem and endsem . About 10 student per 200 students fail but they give supplementary exams . The faculties approachable through mails and we can visit their offices also.
Night Life
Night life of campus is amazing we can do gym go in different dance clubs and music clubs at night . There's no timing for hostel but for campus its 10 pm and there are canteens to hang out at night. Also pizza shop food court.
