Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite good, like all subjects are properly arranged, in a perfect manner they should be teached like in a proper order, if something we need to know in trimester 3 that will be teached in trimester 1 or 2

Class Size: 789Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Indian institute of technology Guwahati gives us this opportunity to learn data science and AI while doing a job. Its fees varies from INR 22000 - 28000 depending on trimester credits, total 4 years fees is 3,50,000 INR

Campus Life

My experience in campus life, social aspects, club involvement and the infrastructure is not up to the mark as this is an online degree, but the details we get for the online clubs are accurate and useful

Admission

Well, the first thing is that they dont mandate the JEE certification or anything, any student from any state country can apply to this course, secondly they have the flexibility of letting us choose whatever how many subjects we want in that particular trimester depending on the burden we have in our other degree or job

Faculty

The faculty members has polite behaviour towards all students, they didn't let us miss any opportunity though we don't go to college, but we have all the facilities and details we need in proper time.

Night Life

The nightlife and around the college campus, from what all i have seen from photos is quite good enough, the maintenance cleanliness, staff and hostel mess, wardens, and nightlife I don't have much idea

As per current trending situation I choose statistics as my department. Our department give us a Microsoft excel course as sec course. In teaching I need the notes should be provided in form of pdf to every student. The timing of exam is good I want to say it's excellent.

True aspects on a University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course as I actually liked it coz I have studied it in class 11 and 12 and want to study more in the field of data analytics. But here we didn't get much exposure to real world applications as we just ended our first sem but expect to get more in future . We also want immediate internships such that we can work on our skills so far as possible. We get less time to study for the exams as the course is vast but exams reach near but if studied in a daily basis routine, one can cop-up with it

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course because I dont have so much money to study for btech and all and also I didn't prepare for jee or neet so, the next thing come is mind is bsc that is in botany or zoology as I liked bio more than any other subjects. Yaa by reading botany I can know many things about plant and trees. The improvement that they can do is release a book according to the syllabus by the university and also add few more new teachers such that student can be friendly with them and ask their doubt . For me I think exam timing should be done... Like one before durga puja and one around December . And the difficulty level should be easy .

Detailed and Unbiased Review

I have applied for DTU & IIITD where I got Software Engineering Branch through the JEE Mains Scores. But since I was sure to join old IIT. I was not sure much about branches so, I just filled all the core and circuital branches of all Old IITs. I wasn't able get other top IITs as my rank in JEE Advanced was not that level. Admission Process: Involves early payments of fees before arrival to the Campus. IIT Guwahati, one of its best

Various other colleges I received based on my JEE rank was IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Hyderabad and oher tier 2 and 3 IIT's. But IIT Guwahati had a better course option for me and known for its efficient alumni network, teaching department, ambiance and college life prospects I chose IIT Guwahati over others. Other colleges I opted to join were not available due to my JEE rank. The eligibility exam is JEE Advanced after JEE Mains which is considered one of the toughest exams in India. Rank varies for courses, normally an All India Rank from 400 to 8000 will permit you to take admission on general category whereas the limit pushes a bit further for other categories. The cutoff varies from year to year depending on difficulty of the JEEA. The admission procedure was excellent with JOSAA facilitating the choice of colleges and courses with priorities filled in accordance with ranks secured by the student....Read More
