NIT Meghalaya Admissions are based on a national-level entrance test or the Institute’s written test and personal interview scores. Candidates can check the admission criteria for different courses mentioned below:
- B.Tech Admission: Candidates must appear for JEE Main and participate in the JoSAA / CSAB counselling for final seat allotments.

NIT Meghalaya Campus Infrastructure
NIT Meghalaya is currently operating at the North Eastern Hill University's Bijni Complex in Laitumkhrah, Shillong. For its permanent campus, the institute has been given a block of land totalling over 300 acres in Cherrapunjee, Meghalaya's East Khasi Hills district. The permanent campus is still underdevelopment.
