B.Tech Merit Scholarship:
- The Merit Scholarship is awarded to the top 5% meritorious students of the B.Tech program on the basis of their CGPA in the last semester.
- In order to be eligible for the Merit Scholarship, a student should have secured 8.5 or above CGPA in the previous semester.
- As the scholarship award, the selected students of the B.Tech program receive about 40% of the tuition fee amount from the 2nd semester onwards up to the 8th semester.
- Also, the students receiving the scholarship will get a certificate of merit.
Merit Cum Means Scholarship:
- The Merit Cum Means Scholarship is awarded to the top 5% of students of B.Tech in each batch belonging from the non-creamy layer.
- Students having an annual parental income of INR 4.5 lakhs and who are able to maintain a CGPA of 7.5 or above are eligible to apply for the Merit Cum Means Scholarship.
- The selected students under the Merit Cum Means Scholarship scheme receive financial support of 40% tuition fee amount.
- Although, the Scholarship will be awarded from the 2nd semester of the B.Tech program till the 8th semester.
Chinese Government Scholarship:
- Chinese Government Scholarship is offered to the students of the NIT Meghalaya under certain eligibility requirements.
- Candidates seeking admission in the undergraduate programs should be under the age of 25, while the candidates seeking admission in the master's degrees should be under the age of 35 and under 40 years for the doctoral level programs.
- Also, the applying candidates should have scored a minimum of 60% marks in the required qualifications.
Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship:
- The Rajashri Shaju Maharaj Merit Scholarship is awarded to the students belonging from the SC categories and is a resident of Maharashtra.
- The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 4.5 lakhs.
- Students receive the full tuition fee reimbursement including hostel and mess charges prescribed by the institution under this scholarship scheme.
- Also, the selected candidates are awarded a sum of INR 10,000 per annum for the purchase of notebooks, books, and other educational requirements.
