As a student of the 2013 batch of the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (NIT) MEGHALAYA the fee structure is as follows. Tution fee: Rs 35000/- per year for general and OBC category students. There is no fee for ST/ST category students (tution fee waived). Fee other than tution fee: Admission fee: Rs 2500/- Registration fee: Rs 1000/- Examination fee: Rs 1000/- Lab fee: Rs 1000/- Training and placement fee: Rs 1000/- The fee of the institute is increased from 2015 onwards. Merit scholarship: The scholarship is awarded to the top 5% of B.tech students in each batch. It is granted from 2nd to 8th semester

Fees and Financial Aid:

The yearly fee which I paid is 2 lac 23 thousand (111500 each semester )as I m a general student having the income category more than 5Lac income category As of now the only scholarship is given in nits is only on basis of their family income Means if income is less than 1Lakh of the family the whole tutuon is waived off ie 62500 rupee and only the hostel fee is taken which is ?49000 (?25000 mess fee also included) And other ?24000 is of other charges like hostels seat rent which is ?7500 and water and electricity charges (?2500) and other rupee include all the things of college like library,internet,laboratory etc Now if the income of any student family is between 1 lac to 5Lac the tutuon fee is waived only 2/3 (2/3 of ?62500 is waived off) and the student is only needed to pay remaining fee with hostel fee which I describe above. Now if I divide the fee according to categories of student like sc st Then all the sc st students are not required to pay any tutuon fee irrespective of their family income Beside this there are scholarship which college tell us time to time to apply but that all are for sc st students none of them is for general students

Exploring NIT Meghalaya

I am in CSE department but we are provided windows systems and ECE departement is provided MAC systems.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The tuition fees for every course of B Tech is 62500 rupees and if you opt for hostels and mess then 30500 for mess advance and 7500 for hostel seat rent. 1000 rupees for wi-fi and 1500 for electricity charges.first time you have to pay around 10000 extra as caution money but they will be refunded.these all payments are for one semester only.these will be same for all semesters and there is no increase in fees.SC/ST are gives full fee waiver and GEN-EWS are also waived on the basis of their household annual income.fee This scholarship is applicable only on tuition fees not hostel and mess fees.

Shocking college

Fees and Financial Aid:

The total fees is about 25000 and the development fees is about 10000 per semester and 5000 lab fees and there is no tuition fees for the students of the management like sc and st and same criteria for my batch mates and no scholarship is given to us

I am getting no scholarship and my college fees is for year with hostel accomodation is 2.5 lakh per year but the students who get admission through sc/St quota there fees is 1lakh per year with hostel accomodation

Fees and Financial Aid:

Well the fee structure is like... For gen the fees is 1.12 lacs per semester and for sc/St or ews students scholarships are there. For instance, the fees for a sc/St student has a reduction of 62500 rupees.

Each course which teachers teaches also have lab of that course which help in getting the topics more widely and keenly

Fees and Financial Aid:

Generally in Nits institutional fees are fixed there is lot of fee paying policies in Nits like for Gen Ews we have to pay 1/3 fees and for Sc and St categories 100% tuition fee waive. In Nits generally fees don't increase rapidly because of central govt. Policies

Tution fee can be refunded if the required qualifications are met and the scholarship also have some criteria so the required qualifications are met them someone can get the scholarship and refund back

Sometimes regular class was held then lab so sometimes we get a very busy schedule

Tution fees was not so high for MSc in IIT or NIT.There are many scholarship is there , If you have any category certificate you tution fees is very low rather than General students. Financial aid is also their.

The average B.Tech. fee structure of NIT Meghalaya is given below:

1^st year- INR 1.55 lacs (Tuition fee- INR 1.25 lacs and Other fee- INR 30,150)
2^nd year- INR 1.45 lacs (Tuition fee- INR 1.25 lacs and Other fee- INR 20,000)
3rd year- INR 1.45 lacs (Tuition fee- INR 1.25 lacs and Other fee- INR 20,000)
4th year- INR 1.45 lacs (Tuition fee- INR 1.25 lacs and Other fee- INR 20,000)

NIT Meghalaya does not have any dual degree integrated course for the students. There are UG, PG and PhD courses offered seperately in specific speialisations. Some of them are Computer Science Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering.

NIT Meghalaya does not have any integrated or dual degree courses to the students. It offers all the courses seperately to the students. The institute offers courses at the Doctorate, Post Graduation and Graduation levels.
