I am in CSE department but we are provided windows systems and ECE departement is provided MAC systems.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The tuition fees for every course of B Tech is 62500 rupees and if you opt for hostels and mess then 30500 for mess advance and 7500 for hostel seat rent. 1000 rupees for wi-fi and 1500 for electricity charges.first time you have to pay around 10000 extra as caution money but they will be refunded.these all payments are for one semester only.these will be same for all semesters and there is no increase in fees.SC/ST are gives full fee waiver and GEN-EWS are also waived on the basis of their household annual income.fee This scholarship is applicable only on tuition fees not hostel and mess fees.

Review about Nit Meghalaya

Fees for a semester are 89,000 along with the hostel. Students with less than 1 lakh family income are eligible for their tuition ( 63,500) fees remittance. Tuition fees are waived for SC and STs. You can get good placement in campus interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is pretty up to date, though this mainly varies from branch to branch. The quality of education is better than most of the other engineering colleges in India.90% of the faculty is exceptionally good, having high qualifications from reputed institutions and tonnes of teaching experience.

My college experience

Students with poor financial status can avail scholarships offered by the Institute and MORE on showing proper documents. Family income below 5 lakhs have fee remittance of 2/3rd waiver, while those below 1 lakh have full waiver. Other than that, one can avail ST, SC scholarships and so on. Students also take education loan.

Many scholarship facilities are there in our College provided by government. For a single girl child also it is there if there income is low. Also the poor income people can avail scholarship. There is also scholarship for topper of every branch. And also the obc people get a refund of their sem fees fully.

For economically poor students,there are relaxation in fees in the form of fee remittance. Top 5 students of each batch is provided merit scholarship. ST/SC students dont have to pay th institute tuition fees.

I dont have that much idea about loan facility offere by our college ,but our college provide scholarship to student from obc and st sc cateogory but some term and condition were applied our college also provide fee remittance scheme to students whose family income is less than 5 lakh per annum
