Ques. How can a student whose family income is less than Rs. 1 lakh get a tuition fee waiver in NIT Meghalaya?
Ans. All students whose family annual income is less than Rs 1 lakh are entitled to get fee waiver at any NITs and IITs. So is the case with NIT Meghalaya.This can be done by approaching the Associate dean of student’s welfare Dr S.Mukherjee or the Director and request them to consider your request of fee waiver. Please note that these are the documents you need to have while doing this.

- No branch will have lesser than 80% of the sanctioned strength after branch change.
- No branch will exceed the 10% of the sanctioned strength of students in a branch.
