The evaluation system comprises two main exams, along with monthly tests and assignments. In 2021, the CSE department had notable placements, with 15 out of 30 students securing packages of 10 LPA, one student receiving 25 LPA, two students achieving 25 LPA in campus pools, and the highest package being 80 LPA from Amazon.
The average placement package was between 50-60 LPA. In other departments, the ECE department's highest package was around 25 LPA, with an average of 8-10 LPA. The Electrical department saw a maximum of 19-20 LPA, with an average of 9 LPA, due to regular PSU visits. The Mechanical department averaged 6-9 LPA, while the Civil department's maximum package was around 10 LPA, averaging 5-8 LPA. Overall, 71% of students received placements, with companies like Infosys, L&T, Google, and POWERGRID actively recruiting.
Placement eligibility starts in the 6th semester. Regarding fees, general and OBC students pay Rs 35,000 per year, with SC/ST students receiving a 100% tuition fee waiver. Additional costs include a Rs 2,500 admission fee and Rs 4,000 in other fees. Scholarships are available for SC, ST, and non-reservation students, including a merit scholarship for the top 5% of B.Tech students. The fee structure was last revised in 2015.
