The college that I have applied to is Shillong Polytechnic. Admission depends on the percentage you get from your previous board exam and after being selected for the first list you have to do the interview and then they will select for the final list. The minimum percentage is 70% and the quota is also available only for several seats and the age should not be more than 21 years.

The candidate seeking admission in this program should have passed Secondary School Leaving Certificate (10+) examination conducted by the Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent conducted by a recognized Board/Council securing at least 45% marks in Mathematics and 45% marks in Science relaxable to 40% marks in Mathematics and 40% marks in Science for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Communities of Meghalaya
Aspirants seeking admission in this program should have passed Secondary School Leaving Certificate (10+) examination conducted by the Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent conducted by a recognized Board/Council securing at least 45% marks in Mathematics and 45% marks in Science relaxable to 40% marks in Mathematics and 40% marks in Science for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Communities of Meghalaya. The fee per year for the diploma in mechanical engineering course is INR 6,136.
The total fee structure is INR 20,000 and you need to pay around INR 6,500 per year for the same.
