The course is good enough and is at par with the courses offered in the country in this domain.Under the guidance of the faculty you can make the best use of it and pave a way for yourself in academics and career as well. Some modern courses should be added to the curriculum and more advanced labs be established. The exams situatiuon is great.

Hostel Facilities

4

The rooms are double occupancy with a fan two tables two beds two cupboards chair and a balcony. The meal quality is satisfactory just that it gets boring sometimes. Registration process is smooth with a fees of 22500 per semester.

Admission

The main criteria was the NIRF ranking and recommendations of some seniors here. The main reason of not getting in other colleges was my JEE rank. As we get these colleges as per the rank this was the best I could get

Faculty

4

In Mechanical department there are 37 faculty members. All are well experienced and senior faculties and some are among the top researchers of the world. Course Curriculum Overview:

For a programme, most of the fundamental course help us build our foundations for applications in real life. It builds us, the knowledge we are required to have for solving issues related to this field. There are some department electives which we can choose as well as open electives which we can choose during the course of our programme, for us. That will be a total of 8 semesters. For doing best during the programme, I suggest, a student to do their best during the first 3 exams, since those exams are scoring but scoring in endsem becomes comparatively difficult due to extreme rigorous checking.

Placement Experience:

The college placement aren't much in our college because our college is too deep inside the area it's like a village area companies find it difficult to come here. Companies mostly come for chemical and mechanical engineering students to hire them. For electrical and civil you have to apply off campus. I don't know the highest package from our college but the recent package that was offered by mahindra to mechanical engineering students was 19000 per month. Atleast 35% students get on campus placement. My plan after degree is to pursue mtech or maybe BFA in Seoul, South Korea or maybe find a job outside india

Remarks:

The entire administration of the college is very careless. They don't seem to bother about the students at all. But they always put a bar on the attendence criteria. Each and every student need to have atleast 75% attendence in each subject. Otherwise penalty is imposed on them. Ironically classes are not conducted on a regular basis.
