Beautiful and large campus having greenery all over the area .
The senior and junior culture is not too strict means ragging cases is very less .

Dislikes

Here weather is very unpredictable one it will be cold and other day too sunny.
Hostel to college classroom are very far like 1 kms

Course Curriculum Overview

This curriculum has very important elements missing i.e the the demands in industry we al know there are may programming languages available in the market and they have also better environment and keywords that will increase the effectiveness and reduce time and energy but they are following the c program

Internships Opportunities

There are many opportunities to available for the internships I e there is a TNP cell ar you can say training and placement cell that ensure to help students who are finding opportunities for placement and internships.

Placement Experience

Placement stats of my college is very good but in recent 2 years due to continuous recession in the industry it is affecting but I am expecting after 1 or 2 year it will back again to the initial value

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Hey there it is very obvious that a student whose family income is less than 1 lacs they have not pay tution fee as other pay people having family income between 1 and 5 lacs they pay only one third of the tution fee and above 5 five lacs pays full tution fee i.e 62500 approx. There are many scholarship available for students studying in the college. Like reliance, ffe ,nsp and many more . Fee structure for the sc st category is as same as the below 1 lacs one .

Campus Life

Our college have numerous clubs and societies which are totally into their objectives. They organise different events for students to explore more about them push the emerging talents. Also the sports is quite impressive every sport have their own feilds .

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is available and I would say it is average they provide you four meal a day and it taste is average some time bad or some time good . But as you grow up move to next year it starts becoming below average

Hostel Fee: INR 22500 per year

Admission

As it is an NIT we have to prepare for jee examination after which on the basis of the result or the rank we get , we fill the form for josaa counciling by which we get allotment for a college.we have reach on the college on given date and the don the further process for admission in it

Faculty

Here all the faculty are very helpful in nature in first they taught very well we all know right know that engineering college are following the old curriculum of studies which will not be used in this developing world

Placement Experience:

The students of 7th semester are eligible for placements . There are many companies that visit here.some of them are Vedanta,Assam petrochemicals etc. If i don't get placements on campus I'll be trying for State government exams

In 2010, I gave AIEEE and got enough marks to get admission to NIT Silchar and Tezpur University in the first round itself. Once I visited Tezpur Central University, I fall in love with the campus and was overwhelmed to get a chance to be a part of this lovely university.

NIT Silchar college review

The Best Days of my Life

NIT Silchar spread over 625 acres with about 19 lakes, tea garden, a big auditorium, 9 boys, 3 girls hostel and Post Graduate hostel for boys. It has Asia's biggest digital library dedicated to our former President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. It has its own Health Care centre with 24x7 ambulance facility. It has lots of societies and clubs where people could join based on their interests and excel in that area. have supercomputing centre which provides WIFI Facility in Guest House, Administrative Building, Lecture Hall Complex, Residential Quarters, Health Centre, Estate Engg.
