Course Curriculum Overview

The course is solely old school and the approach is still innovative even when the subjects are old. Although I think new technologies can be included in our syllabus, we are still doing good. The course is proper shaping.

Placement Experience

companies that visited the campus in the past are Axis Bank, Bharti Airtel Limited, Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited, Alembic, Assam Gramin Vikash Bank. Students also got internship opportunities for the summer and the stipend was around 5000 for a student

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees for my course in civil engineering was 4.58 lakhs. In total. The course fees is so feasible if you check the fees structure for other universities in Assam or in India offering the same course

Campus Life

The colleges hosts regular work shops and training programs for students. There is also a yearly college fest held for us in the year ending. It’s great to be here among the lovely people and getting to learn the culture of people from all over India.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors little crazy. But in a fun way. they are always excited when it comes to college sports events and they will motivate you until you are confident to achieve everything you want. They are true friends.

Admission

I got admission for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering after clearing my JEE exam and then the Assam CEE examination.... You also need to score about 45% in your boards to get your admission done here ...

Faculty

Our faculty is the best thing about our college. They are simply the most underrated gems of our college. They are so simple, yet so strong. They take our side when we are against something and support us through all means.

The students of 7th semester are eligible for placements . There are many companies that visit here.some of them are Vedanta,Assam petrochemicals etc. If i don't get placements on campus I'll be trying for State government exams

Entrance Preview:

In 2010, I gave AIEEE and got enough marks to get admission to NIT Silchar and Tezpur University in the first round itself. Once I visited Tezpur Central University, I fall in love with the campus and was overwhelmed to get a chance to be a part of this lovely university.

I got admission in Kaziranga University but since Assam Science and Technology University is a government based University and the other one was private university so I chooses Assam Science and Technology University over Kaziranga University. I didn't got rejection from any college but I could have got admission on Tezpur University through Cuet but due to not giving English exam I missed that chance. A brief review on Golaghat Engineering college

The college provides admission to students who are from Assam state only. The necessary document to avail of the seat is a PRC certificate of Assam. The college grants admission upon clearing CEE (Assam) examination. When I gave the exam I scored around 110 and the cut off was around 60-70 marks.
