Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology - GIMT Guwahati, established in 2006 by the Shrimanta Shankar Academy Society. Admission:
I applied to multiple colleges like NEF College, which was my initial preference . However , due to some new govt policies of Samarth portal, I wasn't able to take the admission.. so Girijananda university became my confirmed choice as it also has my subject course..
Dislikes
- Everything is available including wifi, labs, classrooms and libraries.
- Washrooms are very clean, hygienic and well maintained.
Admission:
One has to secure at least 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and maths. One can get admission by taking our entrance exam(GCU-CAT) or by CEE or JEE exams. Midterms are difficult because teachers ensure that every student studies very well to pass the exam.

- The campus is very beautiful with trees and plants everywhere
- There are various fests and competitions held in here.

- The food of the canteen can be developed a bit

The admission process was very smooth I must say. There is an entrance examination through which students can get admission here. During the admission the only documents needed were your class 12 mark sheet and if there is a mark sheet of any other entrance examination that you gave like jee, cee, etc.

- Classrooms are cool and not uncomfortable

I am a lateral student. there was no entrance exam for me. the admission process was smooth on when we came to college for the admission. we did not face any difficulty during the admission process.

- Mode of teaching and learning , and faculties are really helpful in all the way
- Playground sports activities and my social groups

- The timing of the classes because its start from 9am till 5pm
- Considering everything i just have suggestions please provide good food in canteen

The eligibility of the course is to get atleast 70% in 12th and application found in official website of GIMT , application fees is 50 rupees. Our admission process is awesome just make sure you don't do any mistakes in fill up the form

Admission:
Admission was taken directly on a merit basis. They called to be told about the college and asked me about my previous board exam marks and told me I would get some relaxation on the admission fee as my previous borough exam marks were good. One improvement they can make is organising an entrance exam.

Overall development of the budding civil technocrats by giving exposure to practical and real-life problems through organizing construction-site visits and industrial training, conducting expert lectures, etc. All the application and admission details are available on the official website of the institute. There are reservations based on entrance exams, and class 12 pass percentage. The process should be easy enough for everyone.

I believe my college is doing great. As the rate of admission is increasing day by day. It provides many facilities like bus facilities, ground for sports both indoor and outdoor, and many more. The faculties are very good and provide all the material related to study.

I applied for Computer Science and Engineering and got admitted directly, with no hustle, smooth process. The application forms and every other details are available on the official website of the college. Would like to see improvements in the placements and also in the hands-on experience on industrial visits and other extracurricular activities.

The very friendly and easy admission process to get into this college. The admission criteria for BCA are rather low with only having 50% in your class 12 boards as criteria. The college provides BCA admission to any student from a science background and even some from a commerce background with the requirement of commerce background students having to have maths or IP as a subject during their 12th.
