Admission:
I applied for Gauhati University for my Masters in Sociology course as it is a government institute but I couldn't be on the merit list in the entrance exam hence I took admission in NEF college which is under GU.
There is no separate exams for admission into this college, those who do not get admission in GU are preferably asked to try for this college and then are accepted here.
I also cleared the entrance in Cotton University and I was in the first waiting list but i already took admission in NEF college hence I did not shift later on.

- Campus was one of the reason that I liked about my college, it's neat and clean with the garden at the entrance which help the students to calm their mind before entering the classroom.
Admission:
The reason I choose NEF was the affordability as compared to other institute here in Guwahati, as NEF offered the BBA course In just 35000 per year whereas other institute price where 10000 to 20000 more than the NEF. The cut-off in NEF college for BBA course was 50% in science for ST back thn

- Campus was so independent and the environment is also so calm and neat dresscore isn't necessary so we can wear anything apart from uniform and also the teachers were understanding and helped us in every aspect
Dislikes
- Canteen was the one thing i recommend to upgrade and also the sports events and other curricular activities should be added
Admission:
Students must have passed 12 from any stream with passing marks to opt for graduation program.
Students can visit online website of nef college or can directly visit college for further information.
Admission is the easiest part in this college as everything can be done online.

- Our HOD is the Best. She was strict but manageable. The college campus was perfect.
Dislikes
- Teachers tends to teach mostly in Assamese where some of the non-assamese find it difficult sometimes especially during the programs either college week or any festivals, they mostly organise them in assamese.
Admission:
I search of the college online then I called the given helpline number. Visited the college after a week then I got the admmsision directly since I crossed 60% in my BSW. The admission process were great and I do not face any problem
