Course Curriculum Overview

Okay so i choose this couse because of the future of course...also this college is pretty famous for btech as it is one of the oldest private college in northeast. Teacher are very helpful as they are always ready to help us

Placement Experience

Placement is good as compare to other private college Average package is 400000 and highest is 1200000. There are many company which has visited our campus like planet shake,mahindra,wipro etc Percentage of students placed is approx 60-70%

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee is 120000 Registration fee is 20000 Admission fee is 10000 Caution fee is 10000 There are many scholarship benefit provided by our college they will notice you for every single scholarship...also the college provide scholarship through jee,cee or good percentage in class12th

Campus Life

Euphuism is the cultural fest of our college..there are many events like fashion show,talent hunt,street battle,hackathon takes plan in this 3-4 days event...which is held in the month of January.other then that there are many small events like seminar etc

Admission

From the first i wanted to take admission in this college...so I didn't even think twice before taking admission Also the admission procedure was easy...you just have to score 75% in class 12th and a good score in JEE or CEE

Faculty

The students teacher ratio is 10:1...they provide a mentir for each and every students which is very good. There are 8 exams in total 6 sessional from which best of 2 is take and 2 mid term exam which held after every six month...the exams are not to difficult to pass

Let's have a look what is going on inside NIT Silchar

Placement Experience:

From 5th sem students are allowed to participate in oncampus summar internship and from. 7th semester starting they are allowed for 6 month internship and Full time roles . There is a Training and placement Cell in our college there are some heads of this cell they are senior professors and it have final year students in senior coordinator position and 3 rd year study as probationary. Students bring the companies which fulfills the criteria of TNP cell and each company have their own eligibility criteria and selection procedure. Mostly companies allows 6 cgpa without any active backlog students . But some high paying companies requires 7 or more cgpa . In 3rd year Cisco , microsoft, public sapiens, Tech Mahindra, Accenture ,Oracle and many more companies visited in our campus and hired good amounts of students for summer internship and mostly offers full time role as ppo to students. In 4th year a lots of company like Novartis, amazon, flipkart,aditya birla, Cisco , Deloitte, oracle,ukg, Motorola, siemens , IBM and many more startups visited college and hired .Some paid 15+ CTC and some 6 to 10 CTC . Almost 40% of students are placed till December this year from each branch . Personally I'm planning for taking chances to get an online internship and then try to go for higher studies abroad in automation and robotics.

NIT Silchar Review: Campus, Career and Career Prospects

Placement Experience:

NIT Silchar has decent placement stat. Approx 75 percent student got placement from campus and they got decent package. In NIT Silchar from 7th semester students are eligible for placement and company comes whole year for recruiting. Approx 100 company visit the college throughout the year. In tech Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Walmart and more companies come. For core L&T, Adani, Tata Steel and more companies come. For service base Infosys, TCS, Wipro will come and give good offer. Highest package will come from tech company and that is 52lpa and average from all companies will lie from 10 to 12 lpa . My plans is that in my 4th year atleast I will get one job. If I don't get job then I will try from off campus or giving paper for government job

Great college with decent infrastructure and a large campus

Placement Experience:

The placements here are actually decent. The average package for my branch was around 13.5 LPA last year and branches like CSE, EC and EI have a higher average package generally. The campus is visited by almost all of the top companies including Google, Adobe, Facebook, etc. The detailed placement records are available on the website of the institute.The percentage of students getting placed ranges anywhere between 70 percent to 92 percent. I plan to get an M.Tech degree after completing my B.Tech course from an IIT if possible.

Normally from third semester student become eligible campus placements but most usually take placements in fourth semester or fifth semester The percentage of getting placements are about 60% The highest package per company usually was ?80,000 per month and the average is around 20,000 Per month My plan is to get a job of a construction firm for about one year so that I can collect good amount of experience and they will hire me because I am passout from this college because this is one of the most reputed college after one year or two year, I will try for government exams or some private companies like Gautam farm, et cetera
