GIMT Guwahati BCA : Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Students in the BCA program become eligible for placement opportunities starting from the 5th semester. Prominent companies, including TCS, Cognizant, Amazon, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio, Sony, Axis Bank, and Godrej, frequently recruit, with many acting as mass recruiters. About 50% to 60% of students secure placements, and the highest salary package offered for the Computer Applications course is approximately 6 LPA. Although internships are not generally available for the BCA program, professors guide students toward external opportunities.

Project work starts in the 5th semester, with students collaborating in groups under a mentor's supervision. The college has an affordable fee structure, with the BCA program's semester fee being around 20,000 INR. Students excelling in their 12th-grade or JEE exams may qualify for scholarships. The top three students in each class receive financial aid ranging from 9,000 to 10,000 INR per semester. Additionally, students maintaining a top-three position based on Scholastic Performance Assessment (SPA) may receive up to a 50% scholarship.
