Remarks

I have cleared my GATE 2020 examination and participated in the counseling process of CCMT. The campus of the college is big and green, I always wanted to be in such a campus where I can enjoy my studies as well as be close to nature, that's why I preferred this college over other.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Microelectronics and VLSI because it's the core specialization of my branch that I have i.e. Electronics and Communication. While doing my Post graduation the student faculty ratio is quite comforting, because I have only 18 students in my batch. The faculties are very knowledgeable and experienced, of course they are teaching at a national campus. The term exams were online and the questions are asked only within the topics the professors teach.

Class Size: 18Course Fees: INR 43400 per year

Internships Opportunities

Till now I have not opted for any internship, for PG students the intership opportunities starts to grow with third semester and the end of second semester. Recently ST Microelectronics has visited the campus for internship and providing a stipend of 36k INR.

Placement Experience

There is a high placement rate for the bachelor degree students. For graduation the students become eligible for placements from 7th semester itself, Companies like Intel, Wipro, HCL has visited the college campus for graduation level placement. Whereas for PG, we also get the internship opportunities in the core companies. Yet I wanted to go for PHD.

Campus Life

There are many great things to do at the campus, the first positive thing about that is the green campus life, the Food is very good there, the hostels are nice. For sports there are two separate grounds, one for cricket, one for football. Apart from that there are 6 badminton courts.

Admission

For the admission just the Gate score is mandatory. The preparation of gate is a procedure of less than 6 months. The student just have to fet through the basics and practice the problems. Rest when you get a valid GATE score you can freely participate in the centralised counseling process.

The college i study in is very good

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards are ready for campus placements. The students from our college gets a very good college placement at a very nice company and salary. The percentage of students getting degree are 80% and my plan after my degree are to become "Company Secretary or job at SBI".

The Peaceful journey of a important chapter of life

Placement Experience:

The placements were smooth and easy, although small companies approached for the placement and the packages were not too much still it was fine. Companies like ICICI Bank, IFFCO TOKIO, BAJAJ, MARUTI approached. The percentage of students getting placement was low around 15-20 percent. My plans after degree is to start preparing for civil services exam

My honest review about my Dispur law college

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is what I'm interested in pursuing. I want to be educated and get knowledge to be able to help others or myself in times of difficulties that involve court representation. Faculty includes good and qualified teachers, some are better than others but overall it depends upon the student to make the best out of any situation. I will take admitted to another college but that's my opinion. All teachers have different teaching methods. Some are good at speaking skills and communication skills but some lack them. Term exams are easy if you study that's the point and passing will also be easy if you study well enough. It's not as difficult in the first few semesters but as we approach the mid-semester it gets real serious to pay attention in the class and grasp the complicated terms of the law.

Great college with decent infrastructure and a large campus

I chose this college mainly due to its large campus and facilites and decent placements. This college has a great alumni network and has the best clubs and societies among top colleges and also organises one of the best fests. I could have got a better college but my rank didn't allow me to secure admission into the top ones. Our college only accepts JEE Mains score as the admission criteria. I chose this college as NIT Silchar is an allrounder package, you want academics? Done! Fest? Done!! Every wing is awesome. From the very first being in my home state, it was the best college I can opt for after IIT Guwahati. I did got offers from other colleges government and semi, but NITS gave me my favourite branch and secured future. This college has a great placement records in PSUs for core branches and great IT sector companies for other branches.
