- Patient flow is good so there is lots to learn and they are very friendly if u talk to them nicely

- If are a person who loves to enjoy fests and gatherings it is not for u . I think u can only enjoy if u know the local artists of assam
- Attendence is quite a big issue here most the dept are super strict and they will not arrange extra classes for u to makeup your attendance
Course Curriculum Overview
After every posting there will be assessments which is usually taken bedside and classes in posting are also taken bedside so the exposure is quite good . Especially derma dept they explain the cases very nicely
Internships Opportunities
Internship is in hospital mostly and few months are in boko phc Stipend is good compared to most govt medical colleges its 30000- 35000 rs Students are posted in various depts After intership only registration no is given
Fees and Financial Aid
1st yr - around 31000 2nd yr - around 25000 3rd yr - around 8000 Final yr - 8000 approx Its much affordable as it is a govt institution For cbse students u will have to pay 15000 and for seba board students it will be 5000 for registration to the university
Campus Life
Festival celebration are quite common herebut u have to be very open for the assamese culture then only u'll be able to enjoy it For sports there is college week where inter college competitions are held
Hostel Facilities
1 table 1 chair 1 bed and an almorah is provided Hostel fee is 5k yearly Mess dues are approx 2000rs Registration is done at the time of admissions only But priority is given to those who have greater distance between their permanent address and college
Admission
If got admission in cmc vellore too but due to 3yrs of rural it was not possible for me so i vhose gmch Eligibility criteria is u have to clear cutoff of neet exam which is approx 650 + for gen category
Faculty
Faculty to study ratio is good They are experinced and always eager to teach Especially professors of patho and surgery are very friendly Exams are generally according to nmc schedule only 3 trimesters in each yr and 2 trimester for 3rd yr If u study even 2 mo before exams passing is easy . Usually 5-10 students fail to clear exams
