For admission in this institute, the students have to register themselves for the required entrance exam as per the course. The admission process for each course is mentioned below:

Admission for the MBBS program is based on the merit scored in NEET. The candidates must have a score of an aggregate of 50% minimum in the entrance exam (40% in case of ST/SC/OBC). Candidates can apply for this exam online on the CBSE website by filling the application form and pay the application fees. The Indian candidates should have an Aadhar card and for the Overseas Citizens/Foreign Nationals/Persons of Indian origin, passport number is required in the application form of NEET.
For admission in MD & MS courses, candidates must have the NEET qualifying score. After the declaration of results of the entrance exam, the selected students will be called for counseling.

Following are the step-wise application procedure for admission in Tezpur Medical College:

The campus is surrounded by nature which is very beautiful.
The hostel is present in campus which is helpful for security.

The campus is very far away from the town.
The transport facility is not good in nearby area.
In campus there is no facility of canteen.

Students view on course curriculum

The course curriculum is not easy to understand. It requires the hardwork along with smart work. This is the course which teaches us at every step of our life. We come in contact with many people with different attitude which helps in understanding the people and it teaches us how to treat each and every person. The learning techniques can be improved by learning with 3D model which helps in understanding.

Placement scenario in campus, highest and average package offered per month

After the completion of 5 year course of MBBS college itself provide the placement to every student. The highest package is about 40000 per month but the average package is about 33000 per month. About 99% students get their placement easily. I'm also thinking to get placement after completing my MBBS degree.

Fees structure of the course per year

The year wise fees is around 100000. The tution fees is 24900. The registration fees is 15000. Admission fees is 10000. Development fees is 3000. Lab fees is 15000. Other compulsory fees is 45000. The fees schedule is same for my batchmates of other category.

Students view on campus life

In my college events and festivals are celebrated in every month. In January and April the bihu is celebrated. In February saraswati puja, in March holi, in September and October the durga pooja and in November diwali and college week is celebrated. In the last month of year the December the Christmas is celebrated. There is a play ground for sports. Most of the games are played in my college. In extracurricular activities the college also provide the plateform for skit, drama, street play, painting, etc.

Facilities provided in the college hostel and its fees per year

The room are good but the space is not sufficient for three students as the room are alloted for three students. The food quality is good for non vegetarian but not good for vegetarian. The menu is fixed as per days in week. The hostel are alloted at the time of admission by the college itself. The hostel fees is 45000 per year including mess charges. The locality is not good for rented room and PG.

Students view on faculties and examination of the college

The faculties of my college are well experienced. All have an experience of on an average 7 years. The faculties are very much approachable and are helpful in nature. They help each and every student without discrimination among them. I like Dr. Durjati sir the most because he is very humble with each and every student. As the MBBS course is not so easy but by the help of facilities we are enjoying the course. There are 3 internal exam and 1 final exam is conducted in our college every year.

Admission process and eligibility criteria

I applied other colleges too all over the india but as the cutoff is very high in those colleges I choose to opt this college. As there is language and communication barrier in some colleges too. I got the college through all india quota on the basis of NEET examination. The cutoff this year is 650/720 for government medical College for general category.

Night Life

The night out activity is not good here because of the distance between the town and the campus. Gym facilities are good but the cafeteria is not present in my college. The hostel intime is 8 PM. The hangout places are the restaurant which are present just outside the campus and sometimes we prefer to go in town for shopping and for hangout.

The other colleges I applied GMCH , Guwahati AMCH , Dibrugarh JMCH, Jorhat DMCH, Diphu Got confirmed admission in DMCH, Diphu but chokse TMCH because of better location and opportunities Marks were not enough Admission is done through NEET(NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE EXAMINATION) We just have to apply in the councelling after securing adequate marks and admission process is simple

The campus is free from pollution and it's eco-friendly.
The campus is surrounded by greenery and plants.

Applied to colleges from Rajasthan. Marks were low. Couldn't get one. There is a medical assessment to see if we're fit to become doctors. Then there is the fee payment process and documents. Finding the departments and getting stamps on papers was cumbersome. Ironically, I helplessly begun to cry in psychiatry department when there was no official for checkup and we were running late

I cannot forget about tpl , college week , saraswati Pooja .
The campus is full of trees and plants of all kind.

Dislikes

There is not even a proper auditorium in our college.
It is a really remote area and the people often scam the outsiders.

Admission:

Well I didn't really choose this college. The cutoff of my state was really high this year and as I come from general category there was not such an option as choice for me out there to really choose a college , I am just thankful that I got a government seat.

Our college promote digital learning so that we can gather knowledge form everywhere.

Railway station and airport are not available.
The campus of our college is quite small.

Admission:

Since the cut of fir neet examination was unexpectedly high so we don't get our dream college.although I had applied for several colleges but I got this college according to my rank. Admission process of our college was very lengthy. First we have to fill forms and then went for medical checkup and then document verification and finally submitted the admission fees and get admitted into this college.

My college and hostel is surrounded by a lot of trees so you get a fresh breath. A good way to lift your mood seeing nature.
Well one cannot miss the tezpur premium league held every year in our college.

Dislikes

Our college is in a remote location . You have to travel approx 30 min by auto to go to town.
The lab equipment to student ration is low.
A proper auditorium is not there . The function are held in lecture halls.

To be honest I was never going to choose this college because of the distance between my home and here . But as the destiny had planned the cutoff was really high so in a list of 126 college I filled tmch was my 121 choice. I did not go for upgradation just thinking that I will make my best come out here and shine.

It is very tough to get into a government medical college I applied to a colleges in got into them later in my drop year I got the chance to get into this college the doctor degree provided by government medical colleges quite valuable the eligibility exam for acceptance into this course is neet the cutoffs arr going higher each year.

My honest review of our College

Likes

Study environment is present most of the time and there is no disturbance from outside as such. Classrooms are okay and teaching quality is also fine.

Dislikes

More programs to develop student's skill and creativity outside of course should be conducted.
The college auditorium is not yet built. Number of girls and hostel room ratio is little bit less.
Labs can be improved. There are some fans in the classroom that has not been repaired from 2022.

Admission:

Eligibility test - NEET after class 12. The exam is conducted every year and lakhs of students apply for this course. The details of the exam can be found on the official website of Neet. Reservation benefits are also there for various categories.

The campus area is very small. When we go for a walk , the tour of whole campus finishes within a few minutes .
