Tezpur Medical College & Hospital was established in 2013 in Bihaguri, Tezpur, Assam which offers various under graduate and post graduate courses. The college has a total of 100 seats for admission according to the regulations issued by the Medical Council of India. There are 22 departments namely, Anatomy, Physiology, Bio-chemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Micro-Biology. The admission to university program is conducted on the basis of entrance examination and online interview.

The college determines candidates’ performance as per the assessment of skills in the entrance exam conducted at the national level. Here are some of the key points regarding admission:

Tezpur Medical College & Hospital MBBS Admission

Candidates interested in applying for MBBS programs at Tezpur Medical College & Hospital should be 17 years old (as on 31st December of the admission year). He/She should have completed senior secondary school from a recognized board and should have studied PCB and English as compulsory subjects.

Additionally, if a candidate fulfills the following eligibility criteria, he/she is eligible to apply:

  • Those who have qualified for Intermediate examination in science with subjects PCB and English.
  • Those who have qualified for pre-professional/pre-medical exams with PCB and English and have completed senior secondary school or intermediate examination.
  • Those who have completed first year of 3 year degree program with compulsory subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
  • Those who hold a B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) degree and have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology during senior secondary school.

Tezpur Medical College & Hospital MD,MS Admission

The institute offers MD specializations across different specializations. The admission is done through an NEET Entrance Examination which is conducted by the institute, annually.

Since the cut of fir neet examination was unexpectedly high so we don't get our dream college.although I had applied for several colleges but I got this college according to my rank. Admission process of our college was very lengthy. First we have to fill forms and then went for medical checkup and then document verification and finally submitted the admission fees and get admitted into this college.
