Course Curriculum Overview
The mbbs course is a very vast course but it is the only course which provides us the tag of doctors who are known as"next to God". Not only the nation but we can serve our own family members with our education and treatment which is the most important thing for every person.
Internships Opportunities
Since I m mbbs first yr student so I don't have much knowledge about internship and companies. But according to my knowledge linked in provides us a great opportunity to work online a get a good amount.
Placement Experience
After 4th year students are allowed to treat patients on their own college for 1 year and they get a stipend of 33000 per month. After completing the course we have the do rural for 1 year then we are allowed to join any hospital.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since Tezpur medical College is a government medical College that's why it's fees is quite affordable. Let's start from admission fees which is 22500 for state quota and 24900 for all india quota. Mess fees for everyone is 300 rs per month.
Campus Life
In Tezpur medical College we celebrate college week, and Tezpur premium league. Our college have a central library which give access to a lot of world wide books and journals. We have a good facilities in our class room with a projector and white board. Since the college is located in rural area so we don't have any high five restaurant or club or cinema hall....
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility are average with an average accommodation. Food quality of our college is average but we get rice every day and our menu is also fixed ...our hostel fees are affordable which is 3000 rs per year
Admission
Since the cut of fir neet examination was unexpectedly high so we don't get our dream college.although I had applied for several colleges but I got this college according to my rank. Admission process of our college was very lengthy. First we have to fill forms and then went for medical checkup and then document verification and finally submitted the admission fees and get admitted into this college.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is quite low because we don't have much facilities in our college. Best facilities according to me is our biochemistry teacher. A lot of exam occurred almost every alternate week in our college. Like part completion test , formative assessment and definitely the trimester and proof 1 exams
Night Life
We don't have any hang out spot near our college, but we have very beautiful places where we can go for vacation during holidays. Our hostel timing are from morning to 8:00 pm evening Sadly we don't have any hang out places
