CBSE Class 12 Result- Gender-Wise Pass Percentage
In the 2025 CBSE exams, girls have shown an even stronger performance compared to boys, continuing a steady trend. The pass percentage for girls is 91.64%, which is a small improvement from 91.52% in 2024. Boys, on the other hand, have a pass percentage of 85.70%, which is also an improvement from 85.12% last year. A very positive change this year is that transgender candidates have a 100% pass percentage, which is a big improvement from just 50% last year.
How to Check CBSE Class 12 2025 Results
Students can access their results through multiple platforms to ensure convenience:
- Official Websites: Visit cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.gov.in and enter your roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth.
- DigiLocker: Log in at results.digilocker.gov.in using your mobile number or Aadhaar-linked account to download digital marksheets.
- UMANG App: Available on Android and iOS, this app allows easy access to results with login credentials.
- SMS: Send “cbse12 [roll number] [school number] [centre number]” to 7738299899.
- IVRS: Dial 24300699 (with area code) to hear results via phone.

CBSE Revaluation 2025:
For students who didn’t pass in up to two subjects, CBSE will conduct compartment exams in July 2025, with results expected in August. Applications will open soon after the results, and a nominal fee applies. Additionally, students can apply for:
- Verification of Marks: From May 20 to May 24, 2025 (₹500 per subject).
- Photocopy of Answer Sheet: Available from the 19th to 20th day post-results (₹500 per subject).
